Group Guidelines

To join this group you need one thing: a lens that is HELPFUL or INFORMATIVE about homeschooling. However, this is going to be a BIG group, so only the best lenses will be featured! Make sure you have a great lens and you'll be featured too! If your lens has good homeschooling information but doesn't meet these criteria, it may be added to the group but won't be featured on the front page.

To become a Featured Lens or Lensmaster you must have:

1. An intro picture for the lens.

2. No default module titles ("New Guestbook" etc); email contact enabled.

3. THE BIGGIE! At least three INFORMATIVE modules (besides the intro). This does not include polls, plexos, shopping, guestbook, etc modules.

4. Try to have a focus for your lens. Homeschooling is a big topic! Don't try to cover it all in one shotgun approach. I put featured lenses into categories, and if I can't figure out where to put you ... then how can I figure out where to put you?

5. Sorry, but spelling counts, and grammar too. It doesn't have to be perfect, but please use your spell checker!

6. If you have a featured lens and a profile picture, you will be a Featured Lensmaster.

Wonderful Lens! I have homeschooled my Daughter since kindergarten and she is now in 8th Grade! We still use relatively 'Wing it' methods and I like to go with her intrests although they are pretty advanced-eg. Govornment, the US Presidents and the full history of the USA. We now have a 6in binder on all that!

I noticed you didn't have any music unit studies. I have several created for homeschoolers if you are interested - entire orchestra / instrument series, Tchaikovsky unit, and others. :)

I was sad when the groups disappeared, but am glad you still have this page. It is wonderful for searching units and information for homeschooling. Thanks for maintaining it! :D

Nice to see that this group made it through the transition to lens. Thank you for including so many of my lenses.
