How To Stay Committed To Your Goals
Staying true to your most desired dreams is to turn them into goals. However, many people struggle and get distracted from their objective in life. Here is how to stay committed to your goals.
1. PLAN
Planning is a great tool to keep track of every little win that you have managed toward your aim. Write down every step to your goal and you will be there in no time. Set limits and benchmarks to hit!
2. DOCUMENT
This one connects with planning. It's just another reason to buy a cool looking planner and 'document' every big or small achievement leading up to your objective.
3. STAY ACCOUNTABLE
Be sure to have someone as a family member or a friend to keep you supportive company throughout your journey! Sharing is caring!
4. HAVE A MANTRA
Or as I call it 'affirmations'. Affirmations are very powerful. Simply put as a background some positive quote that really inspires your inner-self and keep repeating it to yourself at any time you feel like you're not going to make it. Believe me, you will!
5. UNDERSTAND YOUR SACRIFICES
Most big goals require sacrifices that consist of stepping out of your comfort zone (eg. something you don't want to do). Pretend that your sacrifices are the stepping stones in a lake, leading up to your aim.
6. REWARD YOURSELF
Rewarding yourself will keep you motivated. Have a glass of wine or buy yourself some expensive chocolate and enjoy your progress! You got this!
