Updated on September 15, 2014

How To Improve Ballet Technique/How To Improve Ballet Posture - Practice, Practice.

If you want to Improve Ballet Technique you will have to practice at home. One lesson a week is not enough. When I was young, about grades 8-12, I was in the privileged position to have at least one ballet lesson everyday, except Sunday, of course! Unfortunately, that is not always possible.

Fortunately, you do not have to do that, you can practice at home, with the help of ballet books and videos. With a book such as Classical Ballet Technique, (from Amazon) it is like having a ballet teacher in your home at all hours!

To improve ballet technique takes dedication and hard work, but if it is your dream to be a ballet dancer, you will have to do it. If you love dancing, like I did, you will love dancing every spare second you have!

Remember, a part of improving your ballet technique is posture.
