Updated on January 18, 2015

Monkeys and Primate Photos from Around The World

After many years of traveling the world, taking nature and wildlife photographs I noticed that a large proportion of these are of monkeys and by popular demand I have compiled a selection of these photographs in a single article. Some of these are also featured in several separate travel and photography articles:

@MargoPArrowsmith: Thanks very much. That's interesting. I must go to Durham to see them. I heard that the biggest population of tigers is in Las Vegas. Did you see any on you recent trip?

Amazing as always. Did you know that the second largest population of Lemurs is in Durham North Carolina?

You have sure seen a lot of Monkeys. Lensrolling to my Who Are You Calling A Monkey Brain? lens and would love to feature a couple of your Zazzle products that show a monkey. Would you pick out a couple of your favorites and send to me? Thanks.

Another absolutely fabulous and fascinating vehicle for your photos. I'm particularly taken with the monkets and elephants, and the monkey hiding from the orang-utan is a little gem. Blessed by an Angel today (squidoo.com/october-blessings). P.S. You can't fool me, I knew you were the one on the left.

I do love your pictures. I'm still a rookie when it comes to that, but I'm learning.

      Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful photos Andy. The Monkey with a drink problem would make a great caption competition!
