Exercises in Motivation

Updated on August 24, 2017

Getting Motivated is Sometimes Hard to Do.

Give yourself a shot in the arm that is addictive and helpful for your success and which will drive your mind and body into a frenzy of activity.

The proof of motivation is when you can go to bed and sleep with the expectation that tomorrow cannot come quickly enough to get all those ideas into motion. This happens to me just about every night. During the day I am so motivated that many cannot believe how much is accomplished by me during the day. But come nighttime tiredness takes over and sleep is needed.

The day has rarely dawned before my body is up and at it again. That's what a driving force can do for you.

This lens is put together because there are some amazing simple truths to guide you which have come across my path so it is only fair that you get to see them as well.

Not My Usual Type of Lens

This is not my usual style as I want you to see what motivation is offered by Companies that specialise in the books and videos that may help you make a difference to your life and your future. As part of their public relations they issue statements like the follow:

"Customer Service Week 2010 is October 4th-8th. This national event is devoted to honoring the people who serve and support customers. Give back to them this week to let them know how much you appreciate their kind efforts that keep customers feeling special, build customer loyalty and affirms your dedication to support their efforts to provide top notch customer service."

No Company does that unless they genuinely want to please and help people achieve. So sit back and watch the videos and preview the books they have supplied. Its easy, grab a coffee and enjoy.

Are You Self Motivated?

Do you get up in the morning before the sun rearing to go get em before the day begins. Or are you someone who likes to lie in bed until you have to get up and then mope around thinking about how to get out of what needs to be done?

Are you rearing to go when you wake up?

There are so many good inspirational books available today that you can get confused just looking at the titles. This Company is well renowned for its quality of content in the publications it handles. Listed here are some that are worth looking over.

The mission behind it is to make a "distinction in the marketplace by not just publishing books, but by "publishing people". These people are carefully selected authors who inspire readers to achieve their dreams, live lives of abundance, to experience consolation when needed as well the healing power of laughter. Readers will find a wealth of topics reflecting every aspect of life including: Inspiration, Self-Help, Soul, Spirituality, Relationships, Recovery, Healing, Health and Wellness, Diet, Teen Issues, Women's Issues, and Parenting. There are riveting memoirs to enjoy and trademark stories to savor in the tradition that made Chicken Soup for the Soul series famous" Read more on the website.

It's True

Everyone is chasing you for your job, your home, your family, your self respect, and most of all for your success. Don't let them catch you or you might find yourself out in the cold. This video clearly demonstrates why the right action is necessary.

Do You Feel Pressured to Do Better?

How lucky are you to have a job, a home, a family and what would happen it they suddenly were not there? We live in an expanding world where the population is reaching crisis point. That means that your assets may soon be under threat if they are not already. So what are you doing to get on top and be as successful as you can be before it is too late.

Do You Take Success Seriously?

Horrible Stories

Motivation is hard when situation won't allow it.

Two nights ago the TV documentary on the USA's economic crisis brought me to the brink of tears. Not that things in that country are worse than elsewhere but because of the children involved, Tiny babies born into a situation of sleeping in cars, of parents unemployed, of expensive health care and of no support from government to help.

Even worse are those who are so addicted to drugs and alcohol that they cannot be trusted with a home. Many are mentally deranged and have no motivation whatsoever. People shun them and generally they are so alone and ignored that anything can and does happen to them.

How could they motivate themselves? The facts are that most of them can't. They are caught in a spiraling web of downward tendencies that there is simply no hope for them.

Images of people fleeing wars and poverty are filling our screens daily. Millions are on the march in several countries where the governments are without motivation to help them. In many cases what you are born into will be your lot for life.

Few people actually make a success of marketing online for one reason or another. Perhaps the biggest handicap is not knowing how to go about it or how to implement a success plan. If one truly wants to succeed then there is a learning curve and many places online will help. The lessons are free and the rewards can be great.

There are many free publishing sites and article publishes that allow writers to publish their thoughts and ideas. This provides a great motivation to pass on your opinions and to read those of others.

Are Affiliates the Way to Success?

If you are marketing anything on line then how important is it to have others selling for you? Have you ever worked as an affilliate? Would you start an affiliate program?

How familiar are you with what affiliates are?

How it works and why it can work for you.

Interesting lens. I think the whole issue of motivation is fascinating. It's also complex and the interplay of extrinsic and intrinsic motivators have their roles to play. The interplay between cognitive, social and situational factors is also key. An interesting read is Who am I? The 16 Basic Desires that Motivate Our Actions and Define Our Personalities by Steven Reiss
