Mu, The Motherland of A Lost Continent And Civilization

Updated on March 13, 2015

Col James Churchward researched and wrote a rather special book - the Lost Continent Of Mu. It was a book that was published in 1926 and was formulated from evidence in ancient writings. These symbols, found on tablets, told a story from an ancient time pertaining to the Motherland, a land mass that existed long before the creation of the Egyptian empire.

These ancient tablets had been stored and harboured by tribal ancient knowledge keepers throughout thousands of years and Churchward was honoured to be given the opportunity to study these.

The Lost Continent of Mu is written from the evidence that he found. Here I link his findings with my findings. It is now up to you, as a truth seeker, to find your way back home.

The Lost Continent of Mu
The Lost Continent of Mu

This is an evidence based book on the discoveries of Col. James Churchward on his world travels. He stumbles upon the first ancient text from the Motherland, or Mu, that tell the story of the beginning of life. This was a life changing book for me because of it's evidence.

The Lost Continent Of Mu, The KLF And Justified Ancient's of Mu Mu

It was many years ago when I stumbled upon The Lost Continent Of Mu by Col. James Churchward.

In a round about way, I was introduced to this book by a dance band at the end of the 1980s and beginning of 1990s. The KLF, formally known as The Justified Ancient's of Mu Mu, sang about the reincarnation of souls into today's society from the beginning of time. This stemmed from the lost continent of the motherland, known as Mu.

The KLF And The Burning Of £1 Million

The 'Church of the KLF' sang about the great gathering to the times of Armageddon preaching words of wisdom like 'Their justified and their ancient and they drive an ice cream van', meaning these old souls walk in today's earth as ordinary people with ordinary jobs.

Their lyrics intrigued me. So did their example. They were against the illusion of the materialistic world and the creation of money.

So much so, they incinerating 1 million pounds. No one seemed to understand what this symbolic gesture was about.

They were condemned, even if this was done in the name of art.

If you read my article about What Is Money, you will understand where their thoughts were coming from. This can be read in the link at the end of this article.

Symbols From Mu

I digress, but, however, you can see where I was led to - The Lost Continent Of Mu.

To my amazement and joy, I had found the evidence to our beginnings. Col. James Churchward, during his travel's over the world, was entrusted to read and view ancient texts that had been hidden and guarded by tribal guardians of these tablets.

These were hidden for thousands of years and were written long before the likes of the Dead Sea Scrolls and The Bible.

They tell, through symbols, the story of life. What came first, they ask, the chicken or the egg? These texts then explain that it was the cosmic egg that fell from the heavens to the swampland and evolved life. Sounds Darwinian, doesn't it? It also emphasises universal energy - or, as some might call it, God's creative influence.

Wonders of the Solar System [Blu-ray]
Wonders of the Solar System [Blu-ray]

This is a brilliant series by a brilliant Scientist - Brian Cox. In this series he tells you about the universe which you belong and how it all began. Highly recommended - especially if you are logically minded and looking to science to find your spiritual meaning to life. See above for an excerp.

Brian Cox, The Wonders Of The Universe And The Cosmic Egg Of Mu

Brian Cox in his DVD 'Wonder's Of The Universe' says this as he holds and points within a slice of meteorite:

'You see those little brown areas there? Well, within those brown areas we found amino acids - the building blocks of proteins which are the building blocks of me... the building blocks of life... incredibly complex carbon compounds...

So this says that the complex carbon chemistry you need to send you on the path to life is happening out there in space 4 and half billion years ago.

So the first amino acids on earth - the fundamental building blocks of life - may have formed in the depths of space and been delivered to the earth on meteorites.

When we look out into space, we are looking out into our own origins. Because we are truly children of the stars and written into every atom and every molecule of our bodies is the entire history of the universe from the big bang to the present day.'

Perhaps it is the meteorite that this cosmic egg came, as noted from the original text in The Lost Continent Of Mu? It was 1926 that this book was published and there would have been no way that Col James Churchward would have known quantum physics - it was simply not heard of then!

Amun, Amon ... Amen!

The Mu And Ancient Egypt Connection - The Cosmic Egg

Over time, just like Chinese whispers, meanings get lost.

On my expeditions to Egypt, I noticed very similar symbolics in Egyptian hieroglyphics within the temples of Thebes (Luxor) and Karnak. There was a change, however. the symbols had transcribed the question 'What came first the chicken or the egg?' but seemed to have lost the answer. There were no more symbols for the 'cosmic egg'. Essentially, therefore, I could only conclude that time had lost the meaning to life's beginning during the evolution of Egypt as a new civilization.

It then dawned on me that just as meanings can be lost, so can they evolve. Amun, for example, in Egyptology, was the invisible God - God of everything - and as the be all and end all, I realised that Amen (the ending word of the Lords Prayer), was an evolution of Amon. In fact, this has since been a recent belief in the realms of ancient Egypt thinking (see Wiki link on the picture).

Look At The Evidence Directly From Source: Churchward's Lost Continent Of Mu

Truth Seeking - An Evolution Of Belief Systems

In seeking the truth, therefore, it is wise to go directly to source. I have been identified by some as a person who does this.

The evolution of belief systems seem to be built upon the foundations of source ideas that are, indeed, justified and ancient.

What goes around has come full circle. From today's ideas in Quantum Physics that Brian Cox so eloquently describes to The Lost Continent of Mu and the destruction of Atlantis seem to tie in readily with the ways of the ancient Egyptians, Mexicans and Aborigines.

From all over the world and from generation to generation there appear the same symbols - the egg, the sun, the moon and the stars, amongst many.

The Lost Continent Of Mu Has Been Found - The Motherland Has Changed!

So, why are the same symbols appear all over the world and yet there are oceans between the great lands?

Well, the truth is that the land mass was as one. This is why it was called Mu - the motherland. It serviced the mass and was surrounded by water. There was, however, a small land mass known as Atlantis which was connected to Mu, but was independent from it at the same time.

It was the time when the earth had sudden change in the form of the plates of the world moving. These faults broke up the land mass and sunk poor Atlantis but, as the change happened, the majority of land became independent pieces.

If you imagine how great masses of ice moves at the poles, then you will be able to understand how the land broke up in similar ways. The broken land of Mu, therefore, has the same symbols because they emanate from the original source of the Motherland.

The lost continent of Mu, therefore, is not lost at all. It broke up and changed! Just like the earth changed in the past, it changes in the present and will change in the future.

Thank you Mark. I love the way the universe, or whatever you want to call it, works. There are messages all around and this one came from the KLF. I am so grateful that it led me to the lost continent of mu. It soooo tally's up!

I will be messaging you. We need to keep in touch.

Great hub shazwellyn and an area of research I had never really came across until now, also that song from KLF, and the justified ancients of mu-mu, dam. I had only realised now that you mentioned it, what they were really saying, LOL, I think if I ever heard that tune again, it will be a straight reminder to this hub.

Now that you mentioned some very interesting angles for research I will now look further into, this side of the ancient mysteries. Especially the subterranean world and its mysteries, thanks very much.

Thanks Nell. Yes, and I can tell you that this information, sort of, was attracted to me. Strange huh? Yes, I have been to Egypt many times and have done many of the temples - I loved Luxor the best. I will return.

I think I will check out this lost world of Agharti. Thank you! :) Onward and upward goes the truth seeker!!!!

I remember seeing QI on TV and they were talking about the Amen Amon thing, along with how Mithra and lots of others all incorporated all these ideas, must be something in it! And you went to Egypt? you lucky thing! lol rated up! really interesting, cheerse nell
