Relation between anatomy and physiology

Anatomy and physiology 2 different but intently related concepts which are often studied jointly. In a few words, anatomy is a study of morphology of the body of human beings, while physiology involves the study of the functions of distinct structures and systems within an human being. In the bigger picture, anatomy explains the structure while physiology explains the function of the body of a human being. The knowledge of anatomy is critical to the study of physiology. In the same way learning about physiology is necessary to people who desire to know the way anatomical structures work. Thereby it is clear that both are interrelated to one another intently and both need to be learned and understood parallelly.
Both anatomy and physiology have been studied for a huge period of time. Human beings have always maintained a curiosity about how they and other organisms are put together and how they play their role. Most people all over history of medicine have also been keen on comparing and contrasting several living organisms to obtain similarities and establish dissimilarities.
The study of anatomy focuses on learning about the size, design, and location of structures in the body. It ordinarily centers around dissection, in which illustrations are cautiously cut up to disclose the structures within. Physical structures are ordinarily identified by the naked eye, or witnessed under magnification with a microscope for more detail. During the dissection process, anatomists can easily thoroughly document all sorts of things they encounter, and then determine how systems in the body are related. An imperfect perception of anatomy can cause major dilemma for medical practitioners, as knowing about anatomy is a critical part of researching the advancement of disease.
Anatomy may very well be regarded a static study, while physiology is more dynamic, involving the chemical, physical, and electrical processes which make an individual work, from the processes which regulate heart rate to the sophisticated systems included in visual perception. For you to study physiology, it is commonly required to work with living organisms or tissue to fully understand physical processes, for example release of neurotransmitters in the brain of human beings and the storage of energy in cells. Both anatomy and physiology can be studied with the use of dissection and even laboratory analysis of samples from specimens.
Students related to the medical field study anatomy and physiology widely over their period of study, to make sure they understand how the body works as a whole, and how the several systems within the body are related to each other. This field even form a topic of interest for those in many allied health  professions, ranging from x-ray technicians who need a careful familiarity with anatomy to do their work.
The structure and function of parts of body are tightly relevant to one another and virtually, the understanding of one of the two is partial without the other. Since the subject of anatomy is structure and the subject of physiology is function, it will be analogous to mention that anatomy and physiology are closely relating to one another and the study of one of the two alone is imperfect without the other. Inspite of the close relation, it will always be important to keep a boundary between the two for the reason that both areas of study are very extensive in scope and learning both at the same time is a complex task.
