The Rubiks Party

What's it all about?

The latest party craze is the Rubiks party based on the 80s Rubiks Cube craze. Put simply you have to go to the party dressed only in the colors on the Rubiks Cube.

For Rubiks Cube virgins the colors are:

Green

White

Blue

Yellow

Orange

Red

Throughout the course of the evening you have to swap clothes with other guests. The aim of the night is to be dressed in one color only!

Drinks Anyone?

To add another element to the party you can also make sure that all of the drinks served are the color of the rubiks cube as well.

I have a selection of green, white, blue, red, orange and yellow drinks for you to choose from. Another option is to have lemonade and just add food coloring (especially good for the non-drinkers).

Don't Forget the Food

Embrace your inner child and make fairy bread in the Rubiks colors, it will be quite a talking point...................and everyone will enjoy it!

Other ideas include an onion dip with celery, carrot, yellow capsicum sticks, cherry tomatoes and blue corn chips.

Dishes of smarties, M&Ms or jelly beans sorted into the different colors can be left around the room for people to nibble on.

Then there are always the cupcakes with colored icing, cupcakes are very in at the moment and there are some wonderful cake holders around.

The Rubiks Cube

Give your guests rubik cube keyrings as a reminder of a great night. Also decorate your party with green, white, blue, yellow, orange and red streamers and pop rubiks cubes on the tables.
