Squirrels at Home

Squirrels At Home

Furry, acrobatic, destructive, entertainer, show off, and friendly ~ are some of the terms that pop into mind when you mention the word "squirrel." Some would even say a "tree rat." No matter the differences, almost all will say "cute" is most accurate.

I thought it would be most appropriate to let this little entertainer have the floor ~ please feel free to add captions!

I love to watch squirrels, but they are stronger than most people think. They can flat tear up most bird feeders!

@aesta1: Good for you! I haven't had much time for mine lately, feeding them some peanuts or looking for them, too much work! I look forward, as you do, when you can take some time for the better things in life! Thanks so much for stopping by, Aesta1

We have plenty around here to but not as much as there use to be. Not sure if it has to do with having so many cats around the neighbor hood now. Beautiful photos

@Redneck Lady Luck: Do you not get to see them at all?! I hope you get to visit a park at least, to have a bit of pleasure in watching the wildlife scampering about. I'll bet in a park, even, they're used to people feeding them peanuts ~ so you can really enjoy a visit with them! I am blessed to have them in my neighborhood, no question about it! Thank you for stopping by! B : )

Your squirrel photographs are wonderful. I love squirrels. When I lived in the country it was one of my greatest joys to watch them scampering around the yard. You are very lucky to be blessed with them in your neighborhood.

@dingbat1932: I am definitely guilty of feeding the squirrels as well as the birds! You're rignt, they can overcome most obstacles, and I think they're just really cute, too! Thanks so much for stopping by! B : )

Love the squirrels, they are such experts at working around the problems we set them, when we don't want them to get to the bird food.
