Ways to Celebration National Teacher Day

1. Take a teacher to lunch. If you want to go all out, rent a limo and treat a teacher to lunch and a spa day.

2. Donate school supplies to a teacher. Many schools are low on funds so teachers end up spending money out of their own pockets for school supplies for their students.

3. Thank a teacher with a phone call or personal letter.

4. Thank a teacher with a poem. Print and frame the poem and present it as a gift.

5. Throw a party for a teacher. Have students give speeches about the teacher.

6. Have flowers delivery to a teacher in his or her classroom

7. Make a homemade card or gift for you teacher.

8. Celebrate Teacher Day by entering your Teacher in a "Teacher of the Year" contest.

9. Donate books to your local school or library in honor of Teacher Day or in the name of a particular teacher.
