The Book of Enoch - Who is Enoch?
Who Is Enoch -- Helpful Enoch FAQ
Who is Enoch? Enoch is the author of The Book of Enoch. We need to get at what Enoch wrote and the importance of his writings to the Christian church today.
Let me first quickly clarify which Enoch I am not talking about. I am not talking about the Enoch that wrote the book of black magic and spells. We have two very different authors of the same name. The Enoch that wrote the book of black magic is not the Enoch that God speaks of in the book of Genesis and the book of Hebrews as righteous and having walked with Him and pleased Him.
One might think of the books of Enoch as a message in a bottle sent from the distant sea of time and that would be accurate. Or one might think of the books of Enoch as a message put into a time capsule that is meant to be released to a future generation and that also would be an apt description.
God spoke to Enoch and said, "And I will raise up for that generation someone who will reveal to them the books in your handwriting and those of your fathers. And he will point out to them the guard tower of the earth, truthful men, and those who carry out my will, who do not invoke my name invalidly. And you Enoch will tell that generation, and they, when they have read them, will be more glorified in the end than in the beginning." 2 Enoch 35:2-3
No doubt we are in the end times and the books that were written by the hand of Enoch through the inspiration of God in the very first millennial of man's existence is interestingly going to be of great value to the human race now, approximately five thousand years later, at the end of God's dealings with man.
For just as Enoch prophesied of the Flood of Noah, the wrath of God at the beginning of time, so he also prophesied of the coming Tribulation, the wrath of God at the end of time. Enoch had the privilege of seeing the plan of God unfold from the beginning to the end.
My goal is to answer questions about the prophet Enoch and the revelation God gave to him that learning may be with understanding rather than fear. We will talk about fear motivated approach to the Book of Enoch and who is generating the fear and why.
If you are determined to receive from God those things He intended you to have, now is the time to set aside any prejudice you may be gained about Enoch. Just as there was a process that constructed fear, we need to attend to the process of deconstructing it.

Enoch the Descendant of Adam and Great Grandfather of Noah - Why are there 2 Enochs in the Bible?
by Apostle Eric vonAnderseck
God's Enoch is the descendant of Adam through Seth. Enoch is Adam's great grandson through Seth (Genesis 5:1-17). By this genealogy, God distinguishes the Enoch through Seth from the Enoch which came through Cain, which is the father of Irad (Genesis 4:17).
This distinction is necessary because these two Enochs are not at all alike. The Enoch which is a descendant of Adam through Seth is known as a righteous man, while the Enoch which is a descendant of Adam through Cain followed the ways of Cain and lived in idolatry.
Cain was cursed of God because his sacrifices to God were not from a heart of faith, but in competition with his brother Abel whom he then killed. The children of Cain did not walk in the ways of righteousness.
The distinction between the two men who carry the same name is to teach us to observed how Satan blurs the lines between good and evil, to call good (Enoch from Seth) evil. Satan had fully intended that the wicked idolater be confused with the righteous Enoch. We see this played out today in the fear that some have in regard to the Book of Enoch. It is thought that he is the corrupter of God's knowledge, when in fact it is the Enoch through Cain that Satan used to corrupt the earth with false knowledge (Genesis 6:5).
It was through Cain’s line that the earth was overspread with the knowledge of fallen angels (Watchers) and black magic. God used Enoch the righteous as a mouthpiece to prophesy against their works and to warn them of the flood to come. There is also mention in the books of Enoch that he, the righteous Enoch, contended with Enosh, who was referred to as the chief of the idolaters.
Enoch the great-grandfather of Noah. Not much is recorded in the Bible about the drama that leads up to the Flood. We read only that the wickedness of man is increased upon the earth and that God saw man's heart had departed from Him, being consumed with the knowledge Satan was freely offering the human race.
We read about this in Genesis chapter 6, where God uses the word "imagination". He says that "every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually". God also tells us about the presence of another race of beings on the earth called "giants" and says that they are the offspring of angels who came to mix their race with the human race to take over and exterminate the human race by interbreeding.
Our task is to look at the meaning of "evil" from God's perspective. From our perspective, when we try to put meaning to the word "evil", we might look upon our current place in history with the modern eye, viewing the moral decay of societies today. We might describe evil as all this that we see going on in the daily news and we might think that is why God decided to remove the human race from the earth (by a Flood).
This is true in part. From reading selected chapters from the "Lost Books of the Bible", "2 Book of Adam and Eve" chapter 20. God reveals that after He curses Cain to wander the earth, one of Cain's descendants, Genun, was approached by Satan and Satan gave him the skills and talents of a modern bootlegger, mega singer/star, prostitution and drug lord. As today, the human race lined up for the vice of their choice. So in that sense, yes, Satan already had the hearts of men.
It is said that, that generation "angered God, the Judge who had created them." From our perspective we can understand how this would anger God. But at the same time, we have to realize that the presence of angels living on the earth as gods, cohabiting with human women, producing an offspring. This situation contributed something troubling that is not visibly part of our lives today. We read the word "giant" in the 6th chapter of Genesis and we may trivialize this whole affair saying, "It seems there were very tall people back then" and miss the whole point.
We must consider that God was angry that angels left their order in heaven and came down to earth to mix their race with the human race with the intent of exterminating the human race. They corrupted the hearts and minds of men to enslave man to his own passion. We can appreciate the time in which Enoch lived. He saw angels living among men. He saw the education that angels gave to make mankind serve them.
They had the key of knowledge and promised to end the "unfair judgment" God placed upon man in the Garden of Eden. They promised fruitful fields, plentiful harvests, fruitful wombs, prosperity, good health, and eternal life. Enoch saw mankind forget God and join their hope to Satan's promises. They enslaved themselves to the knowledge of fallen angels. Enoch saw and heard these unlawful and godless acts.
Satan had succeeded in infiltrating the human race and the soul. He held man captive in the imagination. Fallen angels were posing as gods and were worshiped as gods. These angels shared divine knowledge with the people. And God called this knowledge "wicked". 1 Enoch brings this history to life and gives us God's perspective.
It is helpful to gain a larger picture of the events of the time that led to the Flood of the earth and the removal of the human race from the face of the earth. It is helpful for us to know the times in which Enoch the Righteous lived.

Watch the Videos and Learn Who is Enoch - The Fall of Satan as Recorded in Book of Enoch
The selected videos were produced by Second 8th Week Ministries. God desires to to make known that His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ is the only valid and real offer. You need not consider any other offer. God's offer of redemption is based on His promise in Christ to give eternal salvation to all who believe. God set the terms and conditions for faith in Jesus Christ so as to leave no room for Satan to enter into faith to corrupt it. If you are not familiar with the terms and conditions of faith God made freely available through Jesus, the Free Online Course About Simple Faith will answer your questions and give direction for faith.
We must be aware that Satan also has an offer for salvation on the table for mankind to consider. There is not a lot of teaching about Satan's misinformation campaign and how he created an alliance with fallen angels called "Watchers" to deceive the human race, offering promises based on mankind's suffering.
The 4 Selected Videos Below:
1. The Fall of Satan: Video focuses on focus on Satan's fall from heaven, how he despises God and believes God lied to Him. He thought he should be the center of God’s attention and God announced to His angels that He was creating man and took from the vault His secret plans to bless the human race. Satan, unable to contain his anger and jealousy objected. God cast him out of heaven and Satan swore revenge against all humans.
2. Who is Enoch The Book of Enoch is like a road map that takes us on a tour of the beginning of time to the end of time. God unfolds His plan to Enoch and we learn what our true origin, purpose, and destiny is in God. Charts and time-lines will help place events and give meaning to God's plan.
3. The fall of the second group of angels called “Watchers”. Why did they leave their heavenly abode. Why did they breed with the human race? What did they see in God’s promise for us that they desired so much that they schemed to replace the human race with their own?
4. God curses the angels What was God’s response to the transgression of the Watchers to breed with the human race? What judgments does God carry out against them?
When God cast Satan into this dimension and Adam fell from God’s grace, the race of angels that fell with Satan worked hard to take ownership of man’s soul by giving them knowledge they could use to get around God’s judgments. Satan was teaching man to live without God—just as he was doing.
The book of Enoch fills in the gaps we see in the book of Genesis. With this information we have a solid case against Satan and the fallen Watchers. The teaching series “The Books of Enoch” I completed in 2011 along with the book “Breaking the Antichrist Code”, which I co-authored with my wife Maria, is like a paint by number kit.
It is not my intention to trivialize the work I believe God wants to accomplish by this teaching, but if you can imagine for a moment a simple paint by number canvas. All that is seen are the numbers which are to correspond to the paint. Everything has been arranged by the product owner for you, the user to apply yourself to fill in the spots with the colors. The result is a stunning replica of a living scene. Birds, flowers, mountains, and streams come to life.
God’s plan is like that. He already has in mind where the paint is to be applied to the canvas. He put the brush in our hands and tells us to paint according to His instruction. The result is that His plan comes to life. This is what the Book of Enoch does for your faith.
Enoch Prophecy Fulfilled in Our Time - Biblical proof we are in the day of visitation
Apostle Eric vonAnderseck
Who is Enoch? God spoke to Enoch and said, "And I will raise up for that generation someone who will reveal to them the books in your handwriting and those of your fathers. And he will point out to them the guard tower of the earth, truthful men, and those who carry out my will, who do not invoke my name invalidly. And you Enoch will tell that generation, and they, when they have read them, will be more glorified in the end than in the beginning." 2 Enoch 35:2-3
Notice that in this passage from Enoch God says that He (God) will raise up "someone" who will reveal the books of Enoch. Not just translate his books, but expound on them to reveal their true meaning. We are to understand further from this passage that Enoch would "tell" or speak to that generation.
Proof We are Living in the Generation of Which Enoch Prophesied. We have been hearing from a great many ministers the need for God to restore to the church the guard tower of truth and to restore to the church divinely called, appointed, and anointed men who will carry out His will.
Enoch Will "Tell" That Generation. How can Enoch speak to this generation to tell us God's message? Is this biblical? How would this happen? First of all, it is biblical for the patriarchs of old to confirm the plan of God. Consider the appearance of Moses and Elijah who appeared to Jesus in the Mount of Transfiguration to confirm to Him ("tell" Him) the path the Father had laid out for Him to the cross (Matthew 17:3).
Moses and Elijah, having already passed to heaven (Elijah was translated as Enoch was), appeared to Jesus to "tell" Him these things. Jesus was not alarmed, neither did He test the spirits against His fear. Jesus was not afraid.
The Day of Visitation. It is important to God to confirm His work of the Second 8th Week to prepare the church to transition back to the original message of Christ and to give hope back to the people.
God carefully planned for this day of visitation by announcing to Enoch that He would send Enoch to "someone" in this generation and tell that person to elevate again the Book of Enoch to its rightful place, out of the dungeon of fear and suspicion and back onto the Christian bookshelf where every Christian can openly read and be blessed.
The Day of Visitation. Enoch Fulfills Prophecy. In 1997 this incredible prophecy came to pass. Enoch appeared to me in a dream vision and said, "Hail! He who is to come. The deliverance one." This salutation is the fulfillment of prophecy. The voice of Enoch was sharp and thundered. I was overcome with joy and wept at the salutation.
Did Enoch Teach You Doctrine? Because Satan used Joseph Smith to plant the seeds of deception into the hearts of man, people ask me if Enoch taught me the doctrine God has restored to the church through me.
No. Enoch did not teach me doctrine. The salutation he gave me confirmed the prophecy God gave Him to provide a witness to this generation that this is the day of visitation of our God. God began to teach me the doctrine of Christ after my calling in 1977. God did not give me the revelation about Enoch until 1997. By then the Lord had already graciously shown me the restoration of the 12 Foundation Stones, the restoration of the priesthood of all believers, the restoration of the spiritual tools of Jesus' covenant, and the divine restoration of Apostolic Governance..
The Day of Visitation: Biblical Witness. When God fulfills His word it is called a "Visitation". God visits His people to accomplish those things that He promised. "For the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity." (Zephaniah 2:7)
Joseph also used the word "visit" to indicate a time of fulfillment of prophecy. He said, "God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you," speaking of the time of deliverance, when God would send a steward, Moses, to deliver the children of Egypt out of bondage and bring them into the promised land. God made us to understand the connection between His visiting His people, the presence of His selected steward, Moses, and the time of deliverance.
We are seeing that same exact pattern repeated again today in this generation. God is making the connection between His visiting His people, the election of His steward (apostle), and the time of deliverance for the church. We will get into more of that testimony and answer your questions about Who Is Enoch on this page.
It is Time for the Christian Church to Return to the Book of Enoch. God's word through Enoch finishes with this promise, "And they, when they have read them, will be more glorified in the end than in the beginning." By this we are to understand God's desire that we read the The Book of Enoch.
There are a lot of questions being asked about Enoch today. God has selected this time to visit His church with knowledge and the power of redemption in the name of Jesus Christ, to draw all men unto Him. Of these, a remnant shall be saved.
