I love the outdoors, I think seeing the beautiful animals and nature is one of the purest things to do in America. It is what this county should be made of. I have a lost of some of the best national parks all over America. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing about it. Now I listed these in alphabetical order because we all enjoy different parks more than others.

  • Acadia National Parks - This park is located in off the coast of Maine on Islands and was opened on February 26, 1919.
  • Arches National Park - This park is in eastern Utah and was opened on November 12, 1971. It got its name because it has over 2000 natural sandstone arches throughout the park.
  • Bryce Canyon National Park - This park is located in southwest Utah. It has a natural amphitheater caused by erosion from a long time ago. It was established as a park on February 25, 1928.
  • Crater Lake National Park - It is located in southern Oregon. Its is the deepest lake in the US and it was established on May 22, 1902.
  • Cuyahoga Valley National Park - This park is located in northeast Ohio. This park did not become a national park officially until October 11, 2000.
  • Death Valley National Park - A park that is part of 2 states, California and Nevada. It is the hottest and driest national park. It was established on February 11, 1933.
  • Denali National Park - This unique park is located in no other than Alaska. It hold the highest mountain Mt McKinley in its grips. It was established as a park on February 26, 1917.
  • Everglades National Park - It is located in Florida and is the largest subtropical wilderness in the US. It was established as a park on December 6, 1947.
  • Glacier National Park - This park is located in Maine. It was established on May 11, 1910.
  • Grand Canyon National Park - Located in Arizona and some parts are considered one of the Wonders of the World.It was established on February 26, 1919.
  • Great Sand Dunes National Park - This park is located in Colorado and contains the tallest sand dunes in North America. The park was established on September 13, 2004.
  • Grand Teton National Park - It is located in Wyoming and was established on February 26, 1929. It contains the Jackson Hole.
  • Great Smoky Mountains National Park - It is park of the beautiful Smoky Mountains and spreads across Tennessee and North Carolina. It was established on June 15, 1934.
  • Olympic National Park - Located in the state of Washington and established on June 29, 1938.
  • Rocky Mountain National Park - The park is located in Colorado and home of the Rocky Mountains. It was established on January 26, 1915
  • Sequoia National Park - This park is located in southern Nevada and was established September 25, 1890.
  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Located in the beautiful state of Hawaii. It was established on August 1, 1916.
  • Yellowstone National park - Located in three states Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. It was established on March 1, 1872.
  • Yosemite National Park - This park is located in California and was established on October 1, 1890.
  • Zion National Park - It is located in Utah and was established on November 19, 1919.
