When a person thinks about Dinosaurs, he imagines plain body of a gigantic lizard. However, it is good to know that all dinosaurs don’t have same plain body pattern. Some had weird looking body. Today, I would like to shed light on top 10 stupidest looking Dinosaurs. It’s time to continue reading and explore more.

10 .Thrinaxodon

Probably, we think that Dinosaurs are similar to lizard but exception comes in the form of Thrinaxodon. It was a reptile possessing some qualities of mammals. It body had soft fur coat and head was featured with wet nose. It might be categorized under warm-blooded reptilian.

9. Tsintaosaurus

It is a dinosaur of Cretaceous period. It had a phallic shaped horn on his head and four legs. It usually used its four legs for walking. However, it could stand on its rear legs to discover its prey and predators.

8. Cryolophosaurus

It is among those few Dinosaurs who had unusual crest on their heads. We don’t know what the main purpose of leaf-style crest on the head is. This leaf looks like a hairdo of 1950s. No doubt, the crest of this dinosaur looks weird and stupid. It was also known as "Elvisaurus."

7.Ouranosaurus

These are camel like Dinosaurs that were first found in South Africa. They had hump with excess fatty tissue. They are known as duck billed Dinosaurs. They belonged to Middle Cretaceous period. They had a row of spines jotting out from the back bone.

6. Jeholopterus

They were very dangerous Dinosaurs of Mesozoic Era. They had long and terrifying beak. Their jaws had double-fanged. According to paleontologist, Jeholopterus was resembled to vampire class of Jurassic Period. The vampire bat of this era was used to target Sauropods and to suck their blood.

5. Brachytrachelopan

Normally, we see that dinosaurs had long neck but Brachytrachelopan is different others. These sauropods had small necks when compared with their predecessor. It seems that they ate plant from underbrush not from top of the trees.

4. Suchomimus

When you read pre-historic book about Triassic period, you come to know that dinosaur and crocodiles are belong to different branches of archosaurs. Though this branches get distinct after some time. Suchomimus is a hybrid of crocodile and dinosaur. They had large body like dinosaur while their sharp teeth jaw resembles with crocodile.

3. Carnotaurus

The fossil of this dinosaur was first discovered in Argentina. It looks weird because of its small arms and two small horns over eyes. These rectangular shaped horns were too small to kill any fish. They ate meat and belonged to late Cretaceous period.It had straight and muscular tail that helped this dinosaur to reach near to prey quickly.

2. Liopleurodon

You may not technically categorize it under dinosaur category as its characteristics and structure matched with reptiles. It had a long head that looked odd. It normally restricted to water as its body shaped didn’t permit it to come outside the water.

1. Therizinosaurus

Its body shaped is matched with a big bird. The look of Therizinosaurus was very terrifying but you may surprise to know that it was a strict vegetarian. What made this dinosaur weird was its long neck with a small head. It had trio of three foot long claws on each hand.
