What is Knowledge? Science and Philosophy

Updated on December 24, 2014

A Definition of Knowledge

Knowledge is a human faculty based on absorbing and understanding information.

Knowledge is the acquaintance with facts and truths as a result of studies, observations, or investigation.

Knowledge is the capacity to understand the functioning and the nature of our reality.

Knowledge is the opposite of ignorance, and also the opposite of misinformation.

Knowledge is awareness, enlightenment, and comprehension.

You can acquire knowledge by reading books, ebooks, webpages, magazines, or newspapers, and also by watching TV or movies.

However, the quality of the knowledge you acquire depends on your source.

If you are looking for real knowledge you must read serious works.

If you believe that you can find knowledge on TV or on newspapers, you are simply following the erroneous mindset of the current civilization, which doesn't analyze the meaning of the truth.

You can also acquire knowledge in schools, courses, and universities, but this knowledge is limited by many factors. Each school follows a predetermined program, which doesn't give you the possibility to learn as much as you may desire about the topics of your preference.

On the other hand, the human knowledge is limited. Many scientific truths recognized by the world population are in fact erroneous conclusions. New discoveries made by other scientists have already scientifically proved that what we believed in the past was false. However, new scientific discoveries delay to change the global mindset.

Besides that, many scientists are constantly trying to beat new discoveries made by their competitors in their field, without caring about the general well-being. They only care about their own statements, their benefits, and their position.

Therefore, the knowledge you have today is in fact misinformation, or it is merely based on ignorance camouflaged by many suppositions and theories.

I'm showing you the bitter truth, but I will also give you a consolation. The wise unconscious mind that produces your dreams possesses undoubtable wisdom.

The knowledge you acquire when you follow the unconscious guidance in dreams surpasses the mediocre knowledge of the absurd modern civilization.

You learn how to use all your capacities.

You learn how to develop your intelligence and evolve without limits.

Knowledge is your salvation from the darkness of ignorance.

When you are ignorant, you make many mistakes.

You waste your time. You get frustrated. You feel despair.

You need knowledge in order to solve your problems and feel safe. You need knowledge in order to understand your reality and become more intelligent.

Studying
Studying

If you want to acquire real knowledge, you have to seriously study the subject of your interest.

Only by reading once a certain information about this matter, you won't learn anything.

You also have to study the information given by many different sources, so that you may compare the content you have collected about what you desire to learn, and select the best information about this matter.

Acquiring real knowledge about a certain subject is not a simple matter.

Socrates
Socrates

Socrates was a classical Greek Athenian philosopher.

Perhaps his most important contribution to Western thought is his dialectic method of inquiry, known as the Socratic method or method of "elenchus", which he largely applied to the examination of key moral concepts such as the Good and Justice. It was first described by Plato in the Socratic Dialogues.

To solve a problem, it would be broken down into a series of questions, the answers to which gradually distill the answer a person would seek. The influence of this approach is most strongly felt today in the use of the scientific method, in which hypothesis is the first stage. The development and practice of this method is one of Socrates' most enduring contributions, and is a key factor in earning his mantle as the father of political philosophy, ethics or moral philosophy, and as a figurehead of all the central themes in Western philosophy.

Confucius
Confucius

Confucius was a Chinese politician, teacher, editor, and social philosopher of the Spring and Autumn Period of Chinese history.

The philosophy of Confucius emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice, and sincerity. His followers competed successfully with many other schools during the Hundred Schools of Thought era only to be suppressed in favor of the Legalists during the Qin Dynasty. Following the victory of Han over Chu after the collapse of Qin, Confucius's thoughts received official sanction and were further developed into a system known as Confucianism.

Confucius is traditionally credited with having authored or edited many of the Chinese classic texts including all of the Five Classics, but modern scholars are cautious of attributing specific assertions to Confucius himself. Aphorisms concerning his teachings were compiled in the Analects, but only many years after his death.

Marcus Aurelius
Marcus Aurelius

Marcus Aurelius was a Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 AD. He ruled with Lucius Verus as co-emperor from 161 until Verus' death in 169. He was the last of the "Five Good Emperors", and is also considered one of the most important Stoic philosophers.

During his reign, the Empire defeated a revitalized Parthian Empire; Aurelius' general Avidius Cassius sacked the capital Ctesiphon in 164. Aurelius fought the Marcomanni, Quadi, and Sarmatians with success during the Marcomannic Wars, but the threat of the Germanic tribes began to represent a troubling reality for the Empire. A revolt in the East led by Avidius Cassius failed to gain momentum and was suppressed immediately.

Marcus Aurelius' Stoic tome Meditations, written in Greek while on campaign between 170 and 180, is still revered as a literary monument to a philosophy of service and duty, describing how to find and preserve equanimity in the midst of conflict by following nature as a source of guidance and inspiration.

Only experience can give you real knowledge. Knowledge is a collection of different life experiences, and the relationship between them.

Experience gives you the capacity to predict future results because you already know the usual movement of the facts. This is a precious ability.

Experience is the best school.

Experience is based on the truth you have already observed, while all theories are based on suppositions.

Even scientific discoveries are based on suppositions because they depend on the interpretation of the discoverer.

Only experience can help you learn how people behave, how the world functions, how everything can be developed with time, and so on.

Experience is your personal interpretation of the information you have. It is your personal philosophy of life.

This is why philosophy can help you acquire real knowledge, even though it is not based on scientific discoveries.

Philosophy is the result of your personal experiences, or the result of a relationship between various different personal experiences, thoughts and conclusions.

Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of general relativity, effecting a revolution in physics. For this achievement, Einstein is often regarded as the father of modern physics and one of the most prolific intellects in human history.

He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect". The latter was pivotal in establishing quantum theory within physics.

Near the beginning of his career, Einstein thought that Newtonian mechanics was no longer enough to reconcile the laws of classical mechanics with the laws of the electromagnetic field. This led to the development of his special theory of relativity.

He realized, however, that the principle of relativity could also be extended to gravitational fields, and with his subsequent theory of gravitation in 1916, he published a paper on the general theory of relativity.

He continued to deal with problems of statistical mechanics and quantum theory, which led to his explanations of particle theory and the motion of molecules. He also investigated the thermal properties of light which laid the foundation of the photon theory of light. In 1917, Einstein applied the general theory of relativity to model the structure of the universe as a whole.

Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neurologist who founded the discipline of psychoanalysis. Freud's family and ancestry were Jewish. Freud always considered himself a Jew even though he rejected Judaism and had a critical view of religion. Freud's parents were poor, but ensured his education. Freud was an outstanding pupil in high school, and graduated the Matura with honors in 1873. Interested in philosophy as a student, Freud later turned away from it and became a neurological researcher into cerebral palsy, Aphasia and microscopic neuroanatomy.

Freud went on to develop theories about the unconscious mind and the mechanism of repression, and established the field of verbal psychotherapy by creating psychoanalysis, a clinical method for treating psychopathology through dialogue between a patient (or "analysand") and a psychoanalyst.

Though psychoanalysis has declined as a therapeutic practice, it has helped inspire the development of many other forms of psychotherapy, some diverging from Freud's original ideas and approach.

Freud postulated the existence of libido (an energy with which mental process and structures are invested), developed therapeutic techniques such as the use of free association (in which patients report their thoughts without reservation and make no attempt to concentrate while doing so), discovered the transference (the process by which patients displace on to their analysts feelings based on their experience of earlier figures in their lives) and established its central role in the analytic process, and proposed that dreams help to preserve sleep by representing as fulfilled wishes that would otherwise awake the dreamer.

Marie Curie
Marie Curie

Marie Sklodowska-Curie was a Polish physicist and chemist famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes -in physics and chemistry. She was the first female professor at the University of Paris, and in 1995 became the first woman to be entombed on her own merits in the Panthéon in Paris.

She was born in Warsaw, in what was then the Kingdom of Poland. She studied at Warsaw's clandestine Floating University and began her practical scientific training in Warsaw. In 1891, aged 24, she followed her older sister Bronislawa to study in Paris, where she earned her higher degrees and conducted her subsequent scientific work.

She shared her 1903 Nobel Prize in Physics with her husband Pierre Curie and with the physicist Henri Becquerel. Her daughter Irene Joliot-Curie and son-in-law, Frederic Joliot-Curie, would similarly share a Nobel Prize. She was the sole winner of the 1911 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Sklodowska-Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the only woman to date to win in two fields, and the only person to win in multiple sciences.

Her achievements included a theory of radioactivity (a term that she coined), techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two elements, polonium and radium. Under her direction, the world's first studies were conducted into the treatment of neoplasms, using radioactive isotopes. She founded the Curie Institutes in Paris and Warsaw, which remain major centres of medical research today.

Scientific knowledge is the clearest knowledge you can have because it is not based on suppositions, but on true observations. This precious type of knowledge was developed during the twentieth century.

A scientific research seems to be the most accurate form to understand your reality. The information you have thanks to the knowledge acquired based on scientific research, studies, and tests is not distorted by personal opinions and theories.

However, human beings are actors. The biggest part of the human brain is idiotic because it belongs to the anti-conscience, which is the wild side of the human conscience.

I discovered the existence of the anti-conscience after continuing the dangerous research of the psychiatrist Carl Jung into the unknown region of the human psyche, where craziness was hidden. Jung had discovered that craziness is inherited. He didn't continue his research exactly because he was afraid to find craziness in the human brain.

After continuing his dangerous research I discovered that the biggest part of the human brain is absurd, violent, and cruel like a demon. This shocking discovery obliged me to make an arduous new research during 19 years before I could finally publish my work and reveal the truth to the world.

I had to cure numerous people through dream therapy and simplify the complicated method of dream interpretation discovered by Carl Jung, in order to give you also a clear and guaranteed solution for finding sound mental health, after showing you that the biggest part of your brain is totally absurd.

I couldn't show you this shocking truth without showing you how you can eliminate all the absurdity you have inherited, and how you can become a wise human being.

Knowledge can help you only when it brings salvation.

This is why knowledge is in fact as dangerous as ignorance.

Everything is dangerous in your reality.

The scientific knowledge you have today is not based only on serious observations as it seems to be, and it is not totally independent of personal interpretations.

Unfortunately, there are many hidden truths in the scientific world, and many contrasting interests.

Besides this fact, many theories are presented along with scientific discoveries as if they were discoveries and not mere suppositions, especially in dark fields like mental health.

Can Science Explain Everything?

Why Do We Need Philosophy, Religion, and Art?

You need art in order to understand the meaning of beauty.

Beauty gives you joy.

This knowledge cannot be given by science or philosophy.

You must love what is beautiful, and never generate catastrophes. The unconscious wisdom helps you pay attention to the beauty of nature by helping you develop your artistic inclinations. This knowledge helps you become more sensitive.

You must be sensitive if you want to be able to understand how other people feel and read their minds. Your sensitivity is more important than your cold rationalism. Sensitivity gives you balance and prevents mental illnesses. Sensitivity makes you pay attention to human pain.

The unconscious mind sends you many protective messages in dreams exactly because you need protection from numerous (invisible and visible) dangers.

Real knowledge is only the knowledge that doesn't come from ignorant human minds, even when they are the result of scientific observations.

All scientists interpret their discoveries in a certain way.

For example, when Carl Jung published the two volumes of his extraordinary work 'The Psychological Types' (in 1920) he concluded that we must learn how to respect all psychological types.

After continuing his research and writing a summary of his work (in 1988) I concluded that all psychological types are absurd. I concluded that human beings are crazy from birth because our human conscience is 'a priori absurd. Therefore, I understood that we cannot trust our own judgement.

In January of 1989 I discovered the existence of the anti-conscience, which is the primitive side of our conscience. I understood that the absurdity contained in the human brain is invincible. Only a miracle can save our human conscience from craziness and terror.

This miracle exists, and it is the divine unconscious psychotherapy in dreams. Everyone can be cured from all mental illnesses or prevent a mental illness through dream therapy, independently of their educational level. Now that I simplified Jung's method of dream interpretation, even a child can easily learn the dream language and enter into contact with God.

The unconscious mind proves God's existence into practice.

This means that today the world has a powerful tool; the accurate and fast translation of the meaning of dreams. Everyone can find mental health, physical health, peace, love, wisdom, and happiness through dream translation.

The scientific method of dream interpretation gives you scientific explanations for the religious mysteries contained in all religions of the world. You understand the relationship existent between science and religion.

Dream therapy according to the scientific method is not merely a way to solve your psychological problems. Dream therapy is a bridge that helps you attain higher levels of knowledge.

You acquire total consciousness. You also find another dimension behind the meaning of dreams.

You are able to solve your psychological problems and your daily problems, and at the same time, you discover the spiritual dimension of your reality.

You understand that you are not merely an animal.

Your huge animal side is transformed into a human being like your tiny human side.

Your psychological transformation helps you attain higher levels of spiritual evolution.

The absurd modern civilization is atheistic and materialistic, but the truth is that we indispensably need a creator because our planet is too young.

Nothing had the time to appear here by chance, based on accidental permutations without any organization.

On the other hand, the vast variation of animals and plants existent in our planet cannot be the result of pure chance. Only an artist and scientist could create so many interesting and perfect species in a very well-organized manner, and in a short period of time. Our young planet is only 4 billion years old and a half. Nothing could have simply appeared on Earth in such period of time without preparation.

There are numerous other facts that prove God's existence. When I tell you that the unconscious mind is God's mind, I'm confirming a scientific truth that fits with many other scientific discoveries in many different fields.

Your own dreams provide you with a powerful source that you can absolutely trust because the information you have doesn't come from ignorant human minds. The divine unconscious mind possesses undoubtable wisdom and can teach you everything you want to know.

The knowledge of the divine unconscious mind has no limits. Therefore, the knowledge you can acquire through dream translation has no limits.

By translating the meaning of dreams and following the wise guidance of the unconscious mind, you eliminate all the absurdity you have inherited, and you become a wise human being.

This process of transformation helps you build a strong and self-confident personality, use all of your brain power, and pass through a process of spiritual purification.

The unconscious psychotherapy is free. You only have to learn the dream language with my dynamic simplification of Carl Jung's method of dream interpretation in order to have free psychotherapy and guidance forever in your own dreams.

You'll have information about the future, and understand how to change your destiny. You'll be able to read other people's mind. You'll learn how to prevent accidents, diseases, and all misfortunes. The unconscious mind will help you control your life, and guarantee your success.
