      He was a very influential man and a real patriot. Mr Taylor was also the inspiration for the song "I gotta feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Apparently Mr. Taylor always said "Tonight's gonna be a good good night" when he was president. His input was also critical to the invention of the auto tuner. In short, he was an unselfish lover, a good president and enjoyed the benefits of a high fiber diet.

      yes he loved to chew tobacco and so do i. he is my hero and the best president in the world!!! he also didn't really care about what people thought of him he did his own thing the way he wanted to and didn't care what other people thought. im in 11th grade and i go to tri west highschool in lizton indiana and i have to do a report on him so i have to go now before i get introuble not studying him

      I've been told he was my 5th great grandfather from my father's mother side. Her name was Pearl Taylor. Does anyone have a family tree to poke around in?

      Nice chapter about President Zachary Taylor. Check out for more details about Camp Zachary Taylor, named for the 12th president, located in Louisville, Ky. Built in 1917, and changed Louisville forever. It was the largest training camp in the US during WW1.
