Introduction

Yeah! I'm back! It seems that it has been a long time since I am written a hub. But this time, I will list the best and most hilarious anime series that I think will make you laugh so hard that you will get abs!

First things first, all anime in this list are my collection, so you can add more if you know something that is funny or you think as funny. You can put it in the comments below.

Happy reading! Hope you find this list useful :)

1. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High School Boys)

Source

"Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. Aw!" Trust me; you will always sing this phrase after watching this anime. Daily Lives of High School Boys is a story of regular high school boys. Sounds boring, right? Wrong!

Tadakuni, Hidenori, and Yoshitake are students at the all-boys academy, Sanada North High School. These boys just don't agree why girls wear skirts or what power is that stick on the road or a reenactment of confession. Together with the ambitious "literally girl" who wanted to achieve her boy-meets-girl ambition. You may also laugh at those lines where the producers are trashing their anime with character lines that you will not expect. Furthermore, high-school girls are the same. Like boys, they will discuss crazy things like their friend who was a former ferocious bully or not to say, their skirts.

2. Seitokai Yakuindomo

Source

The first year, the first day, the first male student in the campus. What else can go wrong? Tsuda Takatoshi is about to begin his first year in Ousai Academy when the student council president Amakusa Shino called him.

Tsuda later was forced to join the student council where he was the first and only boy student council since the former all-girls academy became a co-ed institution. Tsuda is a straight man; He's a man who is morally dignified. But his friends we're not. They love to share bad jokes, especially jokes where the D, V, A, and S words are involved.

3. Chuunibyou demo koi ga Shitai (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions)

Source

Chuunibyou - a term coined to describe a behavior of eight-grade middle school students where they do stuff found in anime and games. In short, they pretend they have powers, or in two words, eight-grade syndrome.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions - simply one of my favorites. This two season anime is a story we're an ex-chuunibyou sufferer Togashi Yuuta also known as the "Dark Flame Master" tends to hide his shameful past from his high-school life. But his plans were destroyed when he met "The Tyrants Eye," Takanashi Rikka.

A funny turn of events made Rikka became attached to Yuuta. As the story progresses, truths and reason were told why Rikka was still suffering the "syndrome." Yuuta realizes that many things are common between him and Rikka. And later, they fell, you know, with each other.

You may also want to watch this anime together with its Special LITE episodes.

4. Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (Idiots & Test – Summon the Beasts)

Source

A story we're a high school system implements summoned beings? Yup! It's right on this anime baka test. Fumizuki Academy is a new school that has implemented a unique scheme for the first time. The first part of this system is the Exam Summoning Battle. Battles are waged between Summoned Beings of different classes, which are given form by the latest technology. The other key element of the system us classroom facilities which directly correspond to one's ability. Students take a placement exam at the end of each school year and are divided into six classes from A through F based on their scores.

The story revolves around Yoshii Akihisa, an idiot but super funny guy who thrives with his friends in the lowest class - Class F. Due to an unfortunate event, Himeji became a member of the Class F. Yoshii thinks Himeji deserves better, so together with his friend Yuuji, and his the whole Class F, they will challenge each superior classes with Exam Battles to obtain their facilities.

Looking for a hilarious anime? You must watch this. This anime thought me that the BIG Biological Weapon is sure deadly.

5. K-On!

Source

Hirasawa Yui, a young carefree girl who was about to enter highschool. Her attention was immediately captured as she was the "Light Music Club" is looking for members. She thinks that the "Light" part of the music club means, literally light like playing a triangle. For her surprise, it was a band who was looking for a guitarist. Now, the problem is Yui, does not know how to play the guitar.

After a long task of homework and practice, Yui soon learned to play an electric guitar. Together with band members, Ritsu, Mio, and Tsumugi, they formed the "After School Tea Time" Band. Later in the series, an addition to the kawaii girls, Azusa appeared and joined the club.

Together, they enjoy playing, practicing and performing their songs, but they will always get distracted to have a break and tea, which makes them live the name of their band.

6. Carnival Phantasm

Source

The is only one word to describe this anime ~ Phantastic! This anime was created in the celebration of Type Moon's 10th Anniversary featuring the parody of the hit Fate/Stay Nite, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, a bit Kara no Kyoukai, and more!

In these anime, you will see the funny side of Saber, and Lancer who always die, Rider overtaking cars with a Granny Bike, the oldest bully Gilgamesh who do not follow the rules. The Tsukuhime side, however, turned the True Ancestor's side to being a cute, funny character.

If ever you will watch this anime, I would suggest that you watch Shingetsutan Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Nite first, so that you can really relate since its a parody :)

7. Barakamon

Source

Handa Seishu - a young Calligrapher, is decided to exile himself on a small island for the misconduct of punching an old famous Calligrapher. Being a man who never lived outside a city, Handa must face the changes of life outside a city, like kids playing in his house, or visitors who enter his house casually.

This funny anime tells you how a man who are most used living in a city, live in a place where he "does not want" the most. And a great reliever from those bloody-gruesome anime like Tokyo Ghoul :)

8. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monster)

Source

The story revolves around Mizutani Shizuku, a study bug, or a person who only cares about studying and getting high grades. Her teacher told her to deliver notes to his suspended classmate named Yoshida Haru, a boy who gets easily pissed and always gets a fight. By Shizuku's effort, Haru really appreciated it and said that he and Shizuku are friends. Haru later turns out to be a really nice guy became in-loved with Shizuku.

This anime is epic! Not just for its story but for the funny scenes and weird personalities plus the animating style factor that contributed to the exaggeration of the scenes, especially the funny ones. You should also watch this. This is really a cold-hearted girl meets the super-troublemaker situation.

9. Seto no Hanayome (My Bride is a Mermaid)

Source

Seto Island - an island where mermaids thrive. An island where Michishio Nagasumi's life was supposed to end. But, a mermaid saved him.

A peaceful night with his parents turned into chaos when a young lady appeared and begged Nagasumi to take responsibility. As expected, Nagasumi's parents reacted with pure awesomeness! Later they know that that young girl was the sole daughter of a Yakuza clan of mermaids under the sea. Based on their rules, when a mermaid meets a human, the mermaid or the person should die. But Seto San, the young lady, doesn't want to kill him. So the only way to address this problem was to marry Seto San. Thus, the title Seto no Hanayome (My Bride is a Mermaid) was formed.

10. Nichijou (Everyday Life)

Source

Don't be fooled by the title; this anime is hilarous! I mean, if you can understand Japanese humor then you should not have problems with their jokes. Who in the world describes their life ordinary, if you have a prince riding a goat, a talking cat, a 4-year-old professor, an almost human robot created by that 4-year-old prof, and a trio of total idiots plus a principal that wrestle a deer?

Well, you better watch this. If you are sad in life, look at this. If you just wanted to have some fun, look at this. Trust me, its worth it.

How do you find an anime funny?

Closing Remarks

I had fun writing this hub since I created it while listening to some high-spirited anime theme songs. Considering that I wrote this at twilight, I think I should get some sleep. And by the way, I created the list with no hierarchy; it is just a plain you should watch anime.

See you in my next hub! Do not forget to comment your reactions or your recommendations. I'll be sure to take those out and check them.
