10 Loveliest Actresses You May Not Know: Part 3

Updated on May 31, 2017

Beautiful actresses come and go in Hollywood with often alarming frequency, but every now and then an actress comes along that seems destined for greatness. Some have ravishing raven hair while others are gorgeous sunshine blondes. Many have enchanting blue eyes though others may have deep brown eyes like pools of molten copper. Some are tall. Some are short. Some have fair complexions. Some are olive skinned. The one thing those who find success have in common is an abundance of talent. Here is another group of young ladies you are sure to see more of.

Megan Hartig

I thought we would start this one off with a real stunner! Megan Hartig is basically brand new to the film industry with only a couple of shorts on her Internet Movie Database profile page. It can only be a matter of time before this talented beauty is starring in major motion pictures and she is already slated to star as Olivia Holland in the independent film Morrow Road in 2012.

It isn't surprising to learn that Megan can not only act, but she can also sing and dance. Likewise, it is almost to be expected that her interests include figure skating, Pilates and yoga and that she was a champion cheerleader. And, hailing from Port Huron, Michigan -- only about an hour away from Detroit -- it is no real shock that this young lady is familiar with firearms. But that her firearms training was with the DEA... that was a little unexpected!

Lily Collins

Lily Collins is one of the better known young actresses in Hollywood right now though she only has a few credits to her name. She first appeared on the new version of 90210 as a guest star but really got attention when she appeared in the blockbuster film The Blind Side playing the daughter of star Sandra Bullock's character. She then went on to star in Priest and Abduction, which co-starred Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner.

With a distinctive look (some crazy folks really seem to dislike her sexy eyebrows) and a whole lot of talent (even when her movies have been less than great fans and critics love her performance), Lily is poised to make the big time in a big way. Maybe it doesn't hurt that her dad is former Genesis drummer and solo superstar Phil Collins, but this young lady can definitely stand on her own.

Kathleen Mackey

Kathleen Mackey's film career began with her role as the ghostly Rachel Parsons in the supernatural thriller Gothika starring Halle Berry and Robert Downey, Jr. She went on to star in films such as The Woods with Agnes Bruckner and The Secret with David Duchovny. Next up for lovely Kathleen will be Apartment 1303 3D due out later this year. The ghost story is a remake of Ataru Oikawa's hit Japanese horror flick.

Chelsea Ricketts

Though she had begun acting before even reaching her teens, Chelsea Ricketts' career has really taken off only in the last couple of years. For the most part, she has been concentrating on television work, making guest appearances on shows such as CSI: Miami, 10 Things I Hate About You and Hot in Cleveland. But she has also been in a couple of feature length films (Joe Dante's The Hole aan Dolph Lundgren's Missionary Man) and well as several shorts. It is only a matter of time before this beautiful young star is given a bigger role either as a major character on a television series or as the leading lady in a major film!

Katrina Bowden

Katrina Bowden is probably best known to television viewers as Cerie on NBC's hit comedy 30 Rock. But she has also graced the big screen in films such as Sex Drive and, most recently, the instant cult classic Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil. Born September 19, 1988, in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Katrina began her acting career in 2006 with several television appearances. She made her film debut in 2008 with the aforementioned Sex Drive.

In 2011, Katrina was voted sexiest woman alive in an upset victory over reigning champion Brooklyn Decker by readers in the Esquire Magazine Second Annual Sexiest Woman Alive Madness tournament. Clearly fans see that Katrina is a star to watch, not only to see her rise to stardom but simply for the pleasure of watching this beautiful, sexy woman!

Laura-Leigh is a bit of a mystery in the entertainment world. Her first role was a 2009 episode of the hit series Gossip Girl as a character named Amanda Lasher which is also the name of one of the show's writer-producers. Her big screen debut was as Zoey in John Carpenter's creepy horror flick The Ward. Her only film in 2011 was a short film called The Restaurant. She will next appear in the 2012 film Lost Angeles though no release date is yet set. So while she seems in no hurry to hit the big time, I still think eventually we will be seeing a lot of this lovely young lady.

Lorraine Nicholson

Lorraine Nicholson was born April 16, 1990, undoubtedly making her dad, actor Jack Nicholson, a proud father. She made her screen debut with a tiny role as "Young Girl in Market" in father's film Something's Gotta Give and followed this with several small roles before landing the meatier part of professional surfer Alana Blanchard in the film Soul Surfer which starred AnnaSophia Robb. Though Lorraine did get surfing lessons for the film, most of her surfing scenes in the film were performed by the real Alana Blanchard, a gorgeous babe herself as evidenced by her lead in the poll to my hub Sexy Surfer Girls.

Maud Forget

Born May 7, 1982, in Saint-Claude, Jura, France, lovely Maud Forget has been around a bit longer than most of the other actresses on this list. She made her film debut in 1999's Bad Company and has worked steadily ever since. But since she has worked almost exclusively in French cinema, most American audiences have no idea who she is. As you can see from these photos, that is unfortunate as we are missing out on one of the hottest actresses currently working in film.

Brit Marling

In 2005, Brit Marling graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in economics and was promptly offered a job with financial firm Goldman Sachs. Brit turned down the offer to pursue an acting career. Finding roles that interested her proved to be a problem, however, so she also became a writer to write her own characters. This resulted in two critically acclaimed films, Another Earth and Sound of My Voice in 2011. The new year is looking even better for Brit fans with the beautiful star already set for three films.

Carly Chaikin

Carly Chaikin is probably best known for her recurring role on the television comedy Suburgatory as Dalia Royce. Carly is a California girl and was born March 26, 1990. She made her film debut with a small part in the 2009 film The Consultants and followed this with roles in The Last Song with Miley Cyrus and Escapee with Melissa Ordway. Next up for Carly is the comedy My Uncle Rafael starring John Michael Higgins and Missi Pyle (which is a duo that practically guarantees a hilarious film).

Carly has a unique look that stands out among the many up-and-comers you usually see. As you can see from the pictures above, sometimes she can be seen as a beautiful blue-eyed blonde while other times she rocks it as a sultry and sensuous brunette. Either way, she is one very lovely lady and will certainly have a bright future as an actress!

Who is the most likely to succeed of my new candidates for stardom?
