20 Underrated Songs That Changed My Life
I originally planned to not only list these songs, but to put them in a specific order and write a small description of each one. I have since decided neither are worth my time, nor yours. Music is subjective, and its value is found only in the mood and environment of the listener. That being said, these songs have a higher value to me than you might believe-- or perhaps you do. Either way, I hope you enjoy the following pieces of art, in no particular order, and open to your own interpretation, whatever that may be!
Bad Blood - Bastille
Bastille in general is one of my favorite go-to bands. If you find that you like this song, I strongly encourage you to go listen to some of their other music. It truly is great stuff!
Changing Of The Seasons - Two Door Cinema Club
My Blood - Ellie Goulding
Nothing gets stuck in your head like some good ol' Ellie Gouding!
Fire On The Mountain - Rob Thomas
I may be a little biased towards Rob Thomas and his other group, more famously known as Matchbox Twenty, since I've grown up listening to them, but that doesn't mean their music lacks the sort of musical quality that can hook someone for good. I am and always will be a fan of these guys. Hopefully the same can be true for you!
Old Friend - Sea Wolf
Her Locket On A Chain - Friendly Savages
Round And Round - Imagine Dragons
Sloppy Seconds - Watsky
Battle Scars - Lupe Fiasco
Some of these are getting stuck in your head now right? You're welcome. You are so, so welcome.
Holding On To You - Twenty One Pilots
Undisclosed Desires - Muse
Preacher - One Republic
Catgroove - Parov Stelar
"Electro-Swing"... who'd have thought? Pretty good stuff though!
Travelling - The Paper Lions
So they may be Canadian, but come on, they're worth listening to, right?
Typhoon - Young The Giant
Farther On - Bronze Radio Return
Half Moon - Blind Pilot
That Home - The Cinematic Orchestra
Take A Minute - K'naan
The Boxer - Jerry Douglas
I'm fairly certain that if you've listened to all this music, you've found at the very least one song that you will listen to over and over again. If not, oh well-- it's all subjective like I said.
Anyway, Thanks for listening,
