5. Live Free or Twi Hard

Synopsis: After a group of young girls go missing, Sam and Dean realize that a group of vampires have taken up residence in the small town. After a fight with two of the blood-suckers, Dean is bitten and turns into a vampire. Samuel tells Dean he can change him back but he'd have to get the blood of the vampire who turned him. Dean infiltrates the nest and runs into the Alpha.

Why: This was the first episode we could really tell there was something disturbing wrong with Sam. He lets Dean be turned into vampire, something Sam would never do no matter how long he spend in Hell. Dean also pushes Lisa's son Ben.

4. Caged Heat

Synopsis: Meg kidnaps Sam and Dean and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley is hiding. Sam makes her a deal - they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam's soul back. Castiel joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg.

Why: This is the episode where we find out Sam and Dean's Grandfather Samuel's intentions aren't exactly good. Not to mention the Angel on Demon action, Meg kisses Castiel and vide versa.

3. The French Mistake

 Synopsis: Raphael launches an attack on Castiel and his allies, sending a particularly frightening angelic hitman after Balthazar, Sam and Dean. In an effort to protect the brothers, Balthazar sends them to an alternate universe where they are the stars of a TV show called "Supernatural" and they are actors named "Jensen Ackles" and "Jared Padalecki." The brothers are confused when Castiel appears to be a tweet-happy actor named Misha Collins and Sam is married to Ruby.

Why: The funniest episode of season 6. Sam and Dean are thrown into an alternate universe where they are stars of a TV Show called "Supernatural" and their names are Jensen Ackles and Jared padalacki and Castiel is a tweeting 3rd wheel actor named Misha Collins. Oh and Sam is married to Ruby or should I say Genevieve Cortess.

2. And Then There Were None...

 Synopsis: Sam, Dean and Bobby set out in search of The Mother of All's latest monster. While investigating, they run into Samuel and Gwen, who are also hunting the creature. Samuel and Bobby get into a heated fight about how to handle the case.

Why: Rufus Turner dies in this episode, and it's the they go up against one of Mother Of All's creations. But, on the bright side Sam kills Samuel Campbell.We also get to find out more backstory on Bobby.

1. Appointment in Sammara

Synopsis: Dean seeks out Death to help get Sam's soul back. Death tells Dean he will help Sam if Dean will agree to act as Death for 24 hours. Meanwhile, Sam decides he doesn't want his soul back and asks Balthazar for a protective spell to keep his soul out of his body. Balthazar tells Sam he needs the blood of his father for the spell to work and since John Winchester is dead, Sam decides Bobby is the next best thing.

Why: Sam gets his soul back! But, he tries to kill Bobby to complete a spell that won't allow him to get his soul. Dean has to be death for 24 hours. Not to mention special guest star Robert Englund (best known for his role as Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street)

      The French Mistake is the best. In fact, for me, it is the best episode of all seasons. I am looking forward for the next season of Supernatural. Dean just looks hotter and hotter in every season. Gotta love those guys. Thanks for sharing this hub. Have a nice day.
