1. Bewitched

2. The Rifleman

In the event that you appreciate cattle rustlers, ponies and rifles then it can't turn out badly with a western series. The Rifleman is a western arrangement that circulated from September 30, 1958, to April 8, 1963, on ABC. The show is set in the 1880's and follows a bereaved Union Civil War Veteran.

A fun watch with your mate or even sharing with family. This show is all about giving second changes to folks. Lot's of action packed episodes to keep you and the family snacking on popcorn. With 5 seasons the 168 episodes are sure to have you entertained for a while.

3. Little House on the Prairie

Little House on the Prairie was a successful screen adaptation for The "Little House" Books children's novel series. The American western historical drama serious aired from 1974 to 1983. The series follows a family living on and working a farm. Through ups and downs this family sticks together.

Little House on the Prairie is an excellent option for the entire family to watch together. Or several with 9 seasons and a total of 204 episodes including 4 specials this show will keep you busy for a while. This is particular entertaining watch with the kids, it is interesting for today's kids to see how life once was. Currently stream-able via IMDb TV.

4. The Partridge Family

If westerns or witches really don't catch your attention perhaps something musical is better suited. The Partridge Family is a musical sitcom that follows a widowed mother and her 5 children all who have musical talent. This series only has 4 seasons with 98 episodes but all are a fun family watch. Early on in the series the kids persuade their mom to record a song with them.

Low and behold it gains popularity and they end up on tour. Later in the series the focus switches to more venues near their home than touring. The series gives an excellent portrayal of the struggle of juggling the single mom gig, suburbia and a musical career. The Partridge Family gives toe tapping entertainment for the whole family.

5. Dennis the Menace

Perhaps the perfect family friendly show on the list Dennis the Menace comes in at number 5. The show Dennis the Menace was actually based on on a comic strip that held the same name. Airing on CBS from October 1959 to July 1963 for a total of 4 seasons and 146 wholesome episodes to keep the entire family occupied.

The show follows Dennis the only child to Henry and Alice Mitchell. Dennis tends to find himself in mischievous circumstances often despite his well meaning nature. He gets into frequent snarls with the next door neighbor. This series is an excellent watch for a family with kids.
