5 Darkest Rap Songs you didn't know Exist...
Hip Hop Buffs and non Hip Hop buffs around the world very falsely know that Hip Hop is some form of party centric music but frankly it's not, because when MC’s tread those dark corners of their minds while writing they come across monsters and ghouls so ugly living inside all of us, but their poetic minds are better able to bring them out and show them to the world, so here is my list of, what I consider to be the darkest matter ever hit my unsuspecting ears through them black-holes everybody calls headphones……..
5. Skin By ChinoXL
This song starts with four lines from the famous poem Antigonish, spoken by a spooked out little kid and that alone can make this song enter my list of The Darkest Songs Ever Created In Hip Hop. But there is more to this song then these four lines that make it an eligible entry for this particular list.
Here Are The Lines….
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there.
He wasn’t there again today,
I wish, I wish he’d go away…
The song is a story of an apparently Schizophrenic Mr. Chino XL AKA Derek Barbosa visits a psychiatrist. In the course of the song we come to know that how Mr. Barbosa went through a difficult childhood dealing with his multiple personalities in this song he tells his whole story in a nutshell (Of it's realness im not sure). But the real twist comes in the end. In the end it's revealed that Mr. Barbosa has invented the psychiatrist too and he’s been on death row for murdering his wife Michelle about whom he’s been continuously talking troughout the song.

4. Uncommon Valor By R.A The Rugged Man (Feat. Jedi Mind Tricks)
What's darker then a Vietnam War Story nothing I guess after the holocaust it stands out as one of the darkest chapter in human history. So here is the Rapper son of a vietnam vet taking us into the dark journey of his father into those dark allies of war death and mayhem. It has got a dark beat plus some dark lyrics especially by R.A. The Rugged Man on the second verse. They are all about war and how he( R.A.’s Father) first got into the war and his journey through the war hazards of agent orange and all.

3. Speech Cobras By Jedi Mind Tricks.
This is about to be dubbed as an unlikely entry into this list by most of the critics but damn do I find this song dark as hell. The beat is too dark plus the lyrics by all three MC’s are very dark too if we leave the Jus Allah verse out 'Partially' then. Mr. Lif going down with some pretty dark matter with his abstract rhymes. Plus Vinnie Paz AKA the Ikon The Verbal Hologram spittin sum ill stuff at the end, and that dialogue from the film Pi damn it's gloomy.

2. Temporary Insanity By Psycho Realm
This song freaks me out every time I listen to it. especially the hook by B-Real here it is…..
What do you see when you’re looking into the eyes of a madman
On the verge of insanity?
Looking out the window I see the animals in the darkness
The fearless, the scandalous, the heartless
in this song all the featuring rappers take a look inside their dark sides and tell us what is it like to go insane here check it out…

1. Dance With The Devil By Immortal Technique.
This is probably the darkest song to hit the Hip Hop scene. Here Immortal Technique one of my favorite lyricist weaves an excellent story about his imaginary friend William who is obsessed by the gang life and chasing the American dream of earning One Million. So he starts to hangout with the guys he thinks are cool and real gangsters and all. But he needs to earn their respect so they plan to rape and rob a woman, and they exactly do that but at the end of the song it's revealed that the lady they set out to rob and rape turns out to be William's own mother.
Damn that's as dark as it gets.
