5 Reasons the toys from Toy Story are terrifying

Updated on August 11, 2015

Ever since I was a kid, I thought about what happened in my room at night. From shadows, to strange noises. It wasn't till I saw toy story 3, that I thought toy story is terrifying..then I thought...... Oh no.

Imagine you are a child, in fact, imagine you are Good. Now, imagine that your toys are alive. Not just alive, but very alive, they have romance, attitudes, and no batteries. Who needs batteries, when your supposed to not be alive.?! Woody? Jessie? yea. no. This is a very scary concept, if you think about it. Every time you sleep, they are there. Every time you need personal space, they are there plotting, planning, updating there facebook status, you know evil stuff. Every time you think you are alone, they are there. They just wait for you to sleep, or leave. They are like statues with the ability to stay still. Not for minutes, for hours, days, weeks. Think about this, every time as a kid when you got angry or annoyed at something, you threw something... didn't you. When you got mad you threw your toys, what you think they do not remember. Oh yeah, they remember. Sleep tight.

Now would be a good time to hide.

Do you want a toy that knows what you think?

Now imagine if you will, you are asleep, and all of a sudden, little voices. It's not your mom, not your dad, brothers or sisters. What you do not have brothers and sisters, well this is awkward. NO, no it's not, it's your toys that's right, and they think you are asleep. Tiny whispers ring in your ears at three in the morning, in pitch, black, darkness.. toy story 2 I believe it was. Nightlight? It won't save you from sound, will it. How about the woody doll you are cuddling up with, yea that one that supposed to keep you safe at night. Good luck. Do you think someone would believe you if you told, nope. You would wind up in a stray jacket for that nonsense. In a mental institution where they would, with no doubt, try to make you watch toy story 3 times in a row, or forever. The look of a dolls dark empty eyes. You think it's over, no. Did you hear what they said?

That is right, they are not just rambling idiots. They are intelligent, and woody is the ringleader. That is probably different at your house. They made plans and elaborately complicated strategies, to get the dog outside. In toy story 3 they even took over a daycare...kind of...COME ON. How would you like toy that knows what you think. They even made toy story games. More like spy games is what I think. Toy story online...I mean geez. This is a no-nonsense situation. Want to shoot them? They saw where you hid the weapons. Want to make a plan to get them? They can hear everything you say, and they can even work the TV. They might even turn on TV shows you hate. They are tricky, they have a whole army of toys at their command. An entire army of toys that can talk to each other and you. They are like haunted toys that flip on and off randomly. it random at all. Do you have kids? Do they have toys? Do your kids sleep with you? No. Hum. So where are they now, with them, alone? That is right, if you are a kid or an adult with a kid, or a toy collector. They are think the toys in Toys-r-us, do not know you?

A plan....An entire laid out plan..

.Enjoy this clip of a plan unfolding. See if you can spot what is wrong with this picture. I will make it easier for you....HES A TOY. A plaything. Yet here he is laying down orders like the commander of a world class military.

Toy Story Oh No

Yup, they are immortal, as far as I can tell anyway, and probably know telekinesis. Can you imagine the possibilities? Like I don't know, revenge against your entire bloodline one kid at time...they scare you once, then wait 20 years and scare you again, the toystory toys did (kind of). Surely by this time you're in a mental hospital, and they will find you, or could I should say. OOORRR, they could scare your child, an endless line of waiting and scaring. Remember how I mention that they remember, everything. Well you remember when you were five, and you tore out Mr. Cuddle's eye. You were mad, and he paid for it. He remembers, and all his friends remember. In toy story 2 Woody has his arm ripped, and doesn't even flinch. He cannot use it, but did you notice he was not in pain. That is right, no pain. So yea you tore out Mr. Cuddle's eye, but was he in pain? No. Was he mad? Yes. REVENGE

Honestly, would you. No you wouldn't. You heard a sound at night, like all other kids do, you pull over the covers or you brush it off. They can talk, ha, you won't even believe yourself. In the morning, when it is light out, you will check the toy. You won't find anything. You can poke them all day tear um with a sharp object, any torture you want. They will not flinch or move. So what do you do? Tell someone your story on facebook, or your friends at work. A story you do not even know truly happened. Or, ignore it. Like everyone else. I realize this is a kid's show, but is that all it is. Thank you disney, toy story is terrifying. Youtube toy story videos won't cut it. Watch toy story 1, you will see. Do NOT download toy story...spies remember. In fact, you need to pass this on, help everyone learn the truth. Look around there is probably a toy next to you, right now. I am in a room full of toys, as I am typing this. Do you feel little eyes on you?

Well you shouldn't, it's just a movie...Relax buddy. Where did this toy come fro. . . .

Toy story games

.These are two of my favorite toy story games.

Toy Story: SNES Game

This game was great, because you could make woody get hurt without actually hurting a toy. Which kind of makes me wonder of games can come to life. Damn.

Toy Story: Toys Away Board Game

This game was just fun it came out in 96 I believe. It was a simple game and just really fun to play. These pieces could definitely be full of evil.

I guess I see how this might seem a bit disturbing, then again I grew up watching charlotte's web which will leave you traumatized with an acute awareness of the brevity of life. Not the sort of thin an eleven year old should be worrying about. Talking toys, that's one thing, the fear of losing a loved one to death, that's another story.

Ha Ha Ha ... this made me laugh so much. Hilarious! And I have to agree with you. It is rather terrifying, when you put it that way. Glad I don't really have any toys in my house right now. Toy Story is personification gone wild! :)

      Sharing this!

lol when i was a kid i always wanted my toys to come alive like in toy story but i wanted them to be alive when i was around so that i could see them. you know how much fun it would be if toys could move by themselves? if you don't have any friends to play with or its raining outside then you just tell your toys what you want to do and play with them like if they were really people. i wish it was that way.

I think Toy Story 2 is pretty scary and I'm an adult. You have some great wit, Jravity. Enjoyed the review and background on toys in general.

There are so, so many spelling mistakes and errors in grammar, I simply could not finish reading. I'm sure it is a funny idea but I shall never know

I agree that is unnerving to think about my toys coming to life! But I love the Toy Story movies! (And when I was younger i DID think my toys all had feelings, and wanted to play with each one equally so that none of them would feel unloved!)
