A Unique Dancer Choice - Watch Kristen Wiig Dance During Sia’s Grammy Performance

Updated on February 9, 2015

Kristen Wiig, wigged out in her "dance" to Sia's song "Chandelier."

I am sure you have all seen and heard a lot about Sia's emotional contemporary routines, as she is known for her quirky style within her music videos. However in the 2015 Grammys, Sia wanted to draw that attention away from herself. To do this, she invited comedic phoneme, Kristen Wiig to join her on stage in the Grammys. With Kristen Wiigs own quirky style, it made this "routine" one of the most unique and entertaining moments of the night.

Dance Inspiration

One of my favorite aspects of Dance is that,

"Dance can be whatever you want it to be. It is movement to the music within your heart. It can display emotions, that words cannot suffice when spoken. This is why we dance. ~Lai Rupe (Lai Rupe's Choreography)

Sia's dancers within her music video have a different style of dance, that often is misunderstood. But, their contemporary-modern choreography is ultimately beautiful, because that is how Sia chooses to express herself. We all see the world differently. We all feel the music differently. This is what makes dancing such a beautiful art. It is a freedom of expression, with no rules and no limits.
