Who is Sam Faiers?

Sam (Samantha) Faiers is an English TV personality and bikini model. She has spent much time in warmer climates especially Dubai. Faiers was born on December 30, 1990 in Brentwood, Essex in England. Her parents are Suzanne Wells and Lee Faiers. Sam has an older sister Billie who stars with her on the scripted reality TV show called The Only Way is Essex (also known as TOWIE). Sam and Billie were young when their parents divorced. Suzanne later would marry David Chatwood. However, that union has proven to be very rocky as well. Chatwood was arrested in 2011 after he plotted to steal an estimated 1.1 million pounds in gold and silver bullion. He was released in May 2013.

Relationships and personal life

Faiers also has had a history of broken relationships. Her most well-known relationship was with co-star Joey Essex. Essex and Faiers would begin dating in 2012. The couple would split up in 2012 before they got back together again in 2012. Essex would propose to Faiers when the two of them went on vacation in Dubai in March 2013. Faiers accepted the proposal. However, the relationship came to an end in June 2013 when the couple were having arguments on screen. In March 2014, Faiers announced that she would be taking a break from TOWIE after the 11th season because of a lack of storylines, health problems, and to work on mending her relationship with Joey. But that relationship is over. In August 2015, it was reported that Faiers was expecting her first child with her now boyfriend Paul. She gave birth to a baby boy in December 2015. The boy was named Paul Tony.

Sam Faiers: her career and health problems

In 2014, Faiers also entered the reality game show called Celebrity Big Brother in order to compete in the 13th series. She reached the final day but finished in 5th place. Faiers was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in February 2014. It is thought that she first experienced symptoms when she was competing in Celebrity Big Brother. She was admitted to the hospital twice so that medical professionals would be able to conduct tests on her.

Healthy Lifestyle Activities

Sam has launched her own website called “Celebrity Training with Sam Faiers.” The site has workout videos and recipes for healthy food. Faiers is not the only British celebrity to try and promote a healthy lifestyle. Gemma Atkinson also is a major fitness enthusiast. And pop singer Rachel Stevens once played in a commercial warning men about the dangers of testicular cancer.

Faiers also has a son Paul who is a year old. She was asked about the reality of actually having a child and Faiers, 26 said “I’m a laid back person, and I think a laid back mum. I take every day as it comes, but nothing can prepare you,” (Fillingham 2017).
