Michelle Williams is a beautiful and talented actress that has had many highs and lows in her life.

Childhood

Michelle Ingrid Williams was born in Kalispell Montana on September 9, 1980 to Carla Ingrid and Larry Richard Williams. Her mother stayed as home while her father worked as a stock and commodities trader as well as an author. Her father also ran for United States Senate twice. When Michelle was nine years old the family moved from Montana to San Diego California. That same year Michelle saw her first live theater performance. It was that performance that inspired her to become an actress. In order to work on television and film she was home schooled by her parents. There was a three year curriculum that she pushed herself to complete in just eight months so that she could graduate and pursue acting full time. At 15 years old she emancipated herself from her parents so that she could work full time. In a 2011 interview she spoke about her emancipation and said, "I didn't know anything about anything. In the immediate sense it sounded like a great idea. But, I think most 15 year olds would relish the idea to live with no one looking over their shoulder. It was mostly because I have always had a kind of vicious independent streak."

I thought you did a great job with this hub. I've seen Michelle in two movies and have been impressed with her innate "old soul" persona. I would love to see her performance as Marilyn Monroe. Thank you for sharing this very interesting article about a most talented young woman.
