Alternative Metal Bands You Probably Never Heard Of, But Probably Should have
I have been combing YouTube for new and exciting bands and find that there are thousands out there. I am not sure if they have record deals or not, but I am sure they all have a CD, whether distributed or not.
If you have heard of any of these bands, feel free to say so in the comments, but I find new rock bands every day from all over the world. Some of hard rock, some are metal, and some are in between.
The Biggest Country To Chrun Out Great Metal Bands Is Finland. If you are from the United States, maybe you heard of these bands, maybe you did not.
The United States also produces great bands and most of them are never heard of on the mainsteam circuit. Let's start!
I think Pain is one of the best bands from Sweden. They also have a hot with Annette from the band Nightwish called Follow Me that you should check out on YouTube.
I first heard of 12 Stones with the song Broken in 2003, but they have a lot of great songs like this one "So Far Away".
From Mandeville, Louisiana, 12 Stones now has 4 albums and they keep getting better.
They also have songs on the soundtracks for Scorpion King, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. and Daredevil. Not bad!
Also, Lead vocalist Paul McCoy is the guy you hear next to Any Lee on on the Evanescence single "Bring Me to Life", which later went on to win a Grammy.
When I first heard of Deligma, I was surprised to find that they are from Australia. I never expected to hear a great metal band from down under, but here they are. Enjoy!
I love the music from this band, although lead singer, Zak Tell, has a nice scary look. He likes to pop his eyes out while he sings. Clawfinger is an energetic rap metal band and they combine the two well. While watching this band's videos, there a couple of not-so-nice words in the lyrics, so be careful. Clawfinger is from Stockholm, Sweden.
This band writes about politics, war, rocking, and other cool topics. Check them out!
Burn Season is probably my favorite new band
I first heard of the song The Trust from Burn Season and it drew me in, so I listened to all of their albums on Spotify. Carry On is probably their biggest hit, but they have others as well.
Burn Season is from Jacksonville, Florida And they have 3 major albums.
I first heard of Split Shift during my podcast days and they rock, but have a unique sound all of their own. Including guitars and vocals, nobody sounds like them.
