An Elmo video that you won't mind to hear over and over again.

Seasame Street "Singing with the Stars"

I am a dad of a 7 and 1 year old, and I know how it is when they find a video that they like. If your kids are anything like mine, they will want to watch it over and over again. Now I am not a huge Barney fan and don't get me started on the Wiggles, but I grew up with Seasame Street and have always enjoyed it. My 7 year old loved Barney and the Wiggles and I just could not stand watching it over and over again. However, I'm a dad and if my son wanted to watch guess what, I watched it too. When my daughter was born In May of 2010, I made it a point to try and keep her from watching some of these videos. I tried to convice my wife to try Seasame Street. I told her that she would love Elmo and that she would learn alot because of all the discussions of letters and numbers. My daughter has really taken to Seasame Street and we now own several videos. Now that I have told you enough about myself and situation let me get to this video I am going to discuss. Seasme Street, "Singing with the Stars." This video is one that she absolutely loves. The video has various music stars singing their song, but they are all parodies. A few examples are as follows: James Blunt (real song) Your Beautiful (parody) My Triangle and Goo Goo Dolls (real song) Slide (parody) pride. The good thing about this video is my daughter loves it and I don't mind listening to it. I have actually dug through some of my old cds to try and find the real songs so I can remember what the real words were. Remember you don't have to always just sit and listen to some Wiggles song or Barney's stuff, seasame street brings you a great way to teach your kids numbers, letter, and how to act and you can actually get into the songs as well. Good luck and let me know if anyone else finds anything like this. Thanks.
