13 Animated Movies You Should Watch in 2016

Why Watch Animated Movies?

Movies are a medium through which audience can enjoy and have some little fun while depicting some social message to the audience. And the animated movies have become that genre that connects with the audience emotionally and they often depict the reality of the world in much litter way or in a tone where audience can enjoys as well as you connect with the movie and can understand the message it is trying to deliver whether it is an action, comedy or fairytale. Animated movie children valuable lessons and as well as to the grown audience who might have forgotten that lesson or fun and sometimes that emotion that they forgot in this fast world.

In 2016 there are 13 animated movies that you should either at home with your kids or at your nearest cinema or theatres.

(Note: Few movies in this list have been released and I have provided a little more information about them. And those which are not released I have just given small synopsis about them and this article is spoiler free.)

1. Zootopia

The first movie on our list is our movie is Disney's movie Zootopia. This movie is one of the entertaining animated movies in past few years. The movie tells a tale of a female bunny cop who has big dreams but somehow she is stuck between the stereotype of the society that she is small, weak and she doesn't have what it takes to be a cop but she overcomes all the odds and becomes a cop. This movie beautiful tackles the problem of judging people by looks not by their potential and it connects with you so well that not for a single moment you feel bored. It is a movie that can help people remind dreams can come true if you work hard and gives the same message to our younger audience.

2. Kung Fu Panda 3

The most awesome panda is back with some great Kung fu but this time, he is not alone he has his father and many other pandas who will be taught by him the secret of martial arts.

Po is panda that everyone love kung fu panda 1 and 2 stole our hearts and in the third sequel, he is reuniting with his father who was supposedly dead and a huge threat from the spirit world has returned and Po must find to beat this threat while he is moving to next phase of his life from student to being a teacher and he will have to teach everyone who they really are. This movie is as good as the previous two including a lot of fun and a social message of finding ourselves who we really are and what we really want to do.

3. The Angry Birds Movie

The Angry birds movie the name itself tells that it is based on one of the most recent popular video game angry bird. The game is quite popular among children and adults and the movie adaptation of this game shows the problem of people having anger management issue and the also sometimes this problem is duty the society and many people adjust but few don't which leads to anger management it still shows how one can still control his anger and can use it in a different way or give that anger a direction. I 'll recommend this movie for more mature audiences like teenagers and adults because does have some adult jokes which are not suitable for small kids but still it is a very good movies and especially for teenagers because in that age teenagers are exposed to new emotions and whole new world and this movie shows how one can adjust himself without changing.

4. Finding Dory

Finding Dory is the latest sequel to Pixar's Finding Nemo which was almost everyone loves and it is a story about a fish having memory loss problems she has small fragments of memories about her parents and she tries to find them with the help of Marilyn and Nemo. This movie is fun, entertaining and it is fast paced there is not a single scene where you will get bored kids will love it and animations are very good. The movie shows the importance of family and good friends and what they mean to us. It shows the will to overcome the situation you are in no matter how bad just to see your family. The movie is very entertaining and people of all age group can watch and I think will love it.

5. Life, Animated

This movie is a documentary about an inspirational story of Owen Suskind a young man who was not able to speak and whose family lost hope until they discovered a unique way to communicate by immersing themselves into the world of Disney animated films. The emotional coming-of-age story follows Owens as he graduates to adulthood and takes his first step towards independence. A story about the true power of cinema and how it has changed someone's life. It's a movie that needs to be watched with your kids whether younger or older.

6. The Secret Life Of Pets

Remember the time when you were a kid and your friend or cousin comes to live with you for summer vacation and you feel they are taking your place if you have ever felt that this is a movie for you. It's a story about the dog named Max and his life is great until his trainer brings another dog and the battle for their rightful place in their owner's life begin and things get messed up. It shows how we should at least give a chance to people who are new in our life and not to judge them because we are jealous.

7. Ice Age Collision course

A movie franchise I m watching since I was 6 years old and these guys are back with a big bang Scrat's epic pursuit of his elusive acorn catapult him outside of Earth, where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the planet. To save themselves from peril, Manny, Sid, Diego, and the rest of the herd leave their home and embark on a quest full of thrills and spills, highs and lows, laughter and adventure while travelling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.

8. Batman The Killing Joke

Well, this movie is R-rated and not at all for kids it is based on the most controversial comic of DC The killing joke, The main message it wants to convey was that even having a very very bad day still if someone has a strong will and believe in hope he/she can still be sane. The story is all about joker trying to prove that just a bad day very bad can make people go insane. It's for all comic book fans and it is coming on blue ray and it will be awesome.

9. Storks

When I was small I used to see cartoons in which storks delivered the baby and I even believed that but now there is a movie coming on that idea. A story about a stork who delivers packages for a giant corporation lands in big trouble when he accidentally activates a machine, which produces an adorable baby girl and now he has to team up with a human to deliver the baby as he is injured, By the looks of trailer movie does look pretty funny and entertaining.

10. Sausage Party

Ever wondered you go to a dream place where you thought you will feel like heaven and it turns out to be your worst nightmare or hell well this movie shows you if you ever fall in that situation.The story starts in a supermarket called "Shopwell's", a sausage named Frank lives with various groceries. In a peaceful life, their ultimate goal is to get picked by a customer. They are purchased by a woman and brought to her home. They soon discover the truth about their existence, when the woman prepares a meal with them that equates to torture and death. With the help of his friends, and his hot dog bun girlfriend Brenda, they embark on an adventure to escape their fate.

I don't know much about the movie all I know is the rock will be voicing legendary god and its and adventure movie of a girl and a demi-god. The story takes place in ancient Oceania in the South Pacific, the young Moana is a born navigator who sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her journey, she teams up with her hero and legendary demi-god Maui.

13. Sing

We all have dreams some of us want to be singer-dancer or police officer but not everyone gets the chance to be what they want to be this movie is a story about those people who once again get a chance to be what they want to be.

To save his theatre from closing down, a koala named, Buster Moon holds a singing contest to raise money for it and the entire town auditions for a part in the show. The leading five are Rosita , a mother pig of 25, Mike, a gambling mouse, Ash, a guitar-playing porcupine, Meena, a teenage elephant, and Johnny, a gorilla escaping his gangster family.
