Anime Like Bleach

While Bleach is quite a popular and good anime, there are also other anime that can be just as good as Bleach. Below are some popular anime during the airing of each of them. They all have some sort of supernatural ability. I try to keep it close to Bleach's theme, but it can quite hard to categorize them.

Rurouni Kenshin

Himura Kenshin is the main protagonist of the anime. He offers protection and aid to those that need his help to atone for his sins he committed. He is a "Hitokiri Battōsai", a former assassin in the Bakumatsu War. He then meets a young woman named Kamiya Kaoru who was fending herself from a murderer that proclaimed himself as the "Hitokiri Battōsai". Kenshin defends Kaoru and defeats the murderer. Upon knowing that Kenshin is the real Battōsai, she offers him to stay at the dojo for helping her. After living with her and meeting new friends along the way, Kenshin finds out that his successor as the new Battōsai, Shishio Makato, plans to conquer Japan, Kenshin went to look for him...

Although there is are supernatural powers in the anime, the fighting actions and comedy more than make up for it.
