I'm sure a Kick-Ass 2 will be an interesting sequel nonetheless. I personally found it to be a good concept, and I'm not surprised that they would opt to continue it. Perhaps some new superheroes in the making? My most recent research suggests that the sequel is still a definite possibility for 2012, so at least this is something to keep an eye on. Thanks for the update though. We can always expect many remakes and sequels somewhere down the line that's for sure.

Well I hope so, Latasha, but as a fan and close follower of Chloe Moretz, I can tell you nothing is in the planning stages right now. She gets asked repeatedly about it and has no knowledge of an upcoming sequel. Matthew Vaughn was supposed to be able to work on it after finishing the new Watchmen film, but he's going to start on something else now.

I don't know if it's a funding issue (the first had that problem) or a scheduling one. Both are possibilities.

Thanks Cam!! I did hear talks about that but I decided to add it to the line-up anyway. My bet is that it will most likely get made this coming 2012, and in perfect timing with the other sequels. Like I said, we will just have to wait and see.

Nice reference piece, but one small correction.

There is no assurance that there will be a Kick-Ass sequel. In fact, it's starting to look like a less than 50/50 bet at this point.
