Baby, Baby, Baby, is it Justin Bieber's?

Updated on November 5, 2011

The hot topic in the teen world is the paternity suit filed by Mariah Yeater in Los Angeles that Justin Bieber is the father of her baby. She is requesting that he take a blood test. Bieber is now 19 yrs., but when the backstage sex in the bathroom was alleged to have occurred, he was 16. Mariah was also 16 yrs. The suit indicates that the sexual encounter occurred after a concert at the Staples Center in LA. Mariah said she has not had sex with anyone else but her idol since, so if true, the baby, born in July, just may be his.

The suit seeks child support and the hearing is set for Dec. 15. I am sure it will be a crazy event. The weird thing is that SHE may be guilty of statutory rape as she was under 18 yrs. In California, having sex under age 18 is a misdemeanor with a penalty up to a year in the county jail. However, it has no bearing on paternity issues.

Famous stars are frequently being charged with charges like this. It is hard to keep NOT having sex with fans. John Lennon did something similar, but that was in a teen relationship that produced Julian. For a long time, John's marriage was not mentioned during the Beatle reign on music.

In JB's case, she could be charged with a misdemeanor yet JB would have to provide child support. Go figure!

I found out recently about this Justin Bieber - not being a follower of teenie fads he was unknown to me until he made an appearance on DWTS.

He appears and sounds to have no talent other than a fresh, babyface that incites some sort of a primal fever in pre-teen female children. I suspect he will follow in the steps of other forgotten child stars like Shaun Cassidy.

Do adults really care about this sordid business?
