Adele : Top 15 Things She Wants You To Know
Winning Awards As Usual
Full name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins.
Born 5 May 1988 in Tottenham.
English mother and Welsh father who left when she was 2 years old.
Based on various interviews here's the top 15 things she wants you to know.
Growing Up In Tottenham
I grew up with my mother (Penny Adkins) who was quite young when she had me. It was great, we didn't have very much, but I had a lot of love. I think that now I'm a parent that really is the best thing you can give your kid. I always felt loved and everything was fun.
She always supported me and my music and didn't insist on a back up plan. Mum loves me being famous. She is so excited and proud, as she had me so young and couldn't support me, so I am living her dream.
First Musical Memory
A gig at Brixton Academy that my mother took me to of Beautiful South. She snuck me in, in a trenchcoat, when I was three or four. Her mum was the biggest Jeff Buckley fan (famous for his rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah").
Adele was given a recording contract after a friend posted a demo of her on My Space.
She won an Acadamy award, a Grammy award and a Golden Globe award for her Song "Skyfall". It was the theme song for the James Bond film of the same name.

Because I might say something stupid....you'll learn during our conversations that every now and then I say something stupid (laughs).
I prefer playing smaller venues. I get in trouble for not playing bigger venues. People get pretty pissed off that I dont play bigger shows, because they can't get tickets.
I'm not a massive fan of touring.
Attractive looking, extremely humourous with a North London urban accent. Adele is huge all over the world.
Yet despite her dreamy floating-around-the-room voice with her mature, moodfull, sophisticated songs, she has a personality that is mad-auntie-at-the-party big time. It's impossible not to like her.
Reaction To Being A Superstar
With the release of "Hello", her website was getting hit about 4,000 times a second.
It's blown my mind. I never thought in a million years it's going to happen to me.
If there's any other 7 or 8 year old little girls in Tottenham, it's possible that what happened could happen to you. It's very likely because it happened to me.
I'm pretty oblivious to all that fame stuff. I don't chase any of that I was at an awards show and I wanted to be at home with my mum. I felt out of place.
I get really nervous on stage and I'm really uncomfortable under the spotlight. Once I'm off the stage and it's over I love it. "Oh that was a good show!"
My perfume from being fifteen is Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison. (Laughs). There was a girl who was older than me at school who always wore it. Every time she walked past me I was, like, (imitates sniffing someone at the side of her) I'm in heaven, she smelled so amazing, so I've always worn that.
My life is full of drama, and I don't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like.
She has kept a "Drunk Diary" whereas she has written down her thoughts when she has been drunk, because in her opinion a drunk tongue is a honest one. Then the next morning she would read it through with an awful hangover and in the cold light of day. This way she could absorb her own feelings about herself.
Hello From The Other Side Video
Making the "Hello" video I'm stuck in the middle of a pond. There were four massive wind machines, as big as this room. I had grit and leaves under my eyelids. I'm like, "Stop! Stop!"
It's usually at an awkward time of day when a song will come to me. The middle of the night, when I've got nothing on (that's what she said not my imagination running amok). I have to get my cell phone out and sing into it.
My motto is if you can't remember it, it's not good enough. When I plan it, the worst songs that have ever graced the Earth come out.
