Basketball Wives: The Evelyn Show

Updated on July 8, 2018

Last week's episode of Basketball Wives revealed that Jennifer was nothing more than a liar. After trying to gather an entourage to take down her former enemy Evelyn Lozada, she was exposed for the petty person she is. Cast mate Tami Roman came with receipts of Jen's deception when Jen tried to lie her way out of the rumor she tried to put out in the streets about Evelyn. In the past her and Evelyn had a falling out and Jen basically started a rumor that Evelyn had slept with the show's creator Shaunie O'neal's ex husband. But instead of Evelyn focusing her anger on her newly reconciled friendship with Jen, she zeroed in on her long time nemesis Tami. Tami did not start the rumor nor did she spread the rumor. She picked a time to drop a bomb that made Jen look like a backstabber and Evelyn chooses to be mad at her. Now I know some are saying that Tami was being shady because she held on to this information for more than a year. That was her choice not to speak on it then but now this has added fire to the feud between Tami and Evelyn.

Tami now claims that Evelyn lied about her domestic abuse situation with her ex husband Chad. There has been reports of different stories being told by Evelyn on a few media outlets. So Evelyn has only herself to blame for anyone doubting her story. In no way would I ever defend an abuser but I also do not like for people to use this serious platform just to stay relevant. In this case Tami is claiming that Evelyn lied about the entire altercation only because she wanted to ruin Chad's career. When the story first broke I had doubts immediately about Evelyn being a victim. For years I watched this same woman be the abuser that she was now accusing Chad of being. I watched her throw bottles, walk across tables, and hit other women. She definitely did not look like a victim in any of those scenes. I am not saying that she is lying about what happened with her and Chad but her past actions show that she has also been the cause of abuse for others. Now tonight we see how it plays out after Tami boldly calls her out. It was said that we will get an entire different story than what's been told in the past. Is Evelyn going to stick with her account of events or will she once again change her story? I know Jackie Christie is just glad that she is not a part of this debacle for once!
