Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Trailer 2

One of the most anticipated movies of the year

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Superhero movies are the best! They are the perfect combination of action and drama, with the occasional joke. I have been keeping up with the first and second installments, trilogies, spin-offs, and combinations of the latest action packed films. And each seem to be more powerful, well written, and dynamic than the one before it.

The overview of this film is simple following the amazing events that took place in Man of Steel. Gotham City’s own vigilante Batman makes his way to Metropolis to begin combat with Superman, while another foe emerges with plans to harm mankind.

Obviously, I would strongly recommend you watch Man of Steel which can be purchased at Amazon. There is a lot that happens as far as Clark’s development, and his back story is interestingly written. This film was announced after Man of Steel was released in 2013, so naturally the continuity of the Superman character will be similar or at least referenced. So, to fully appreciate Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel should also be fresh in your mind, and is available on the Amazon website.

With its $200 million budget we will be getting more than just Batman and Superman, even though for some that may be enough, because this will be the first live-action film featuring both Batman and Superman. It was announced that Wonder Women, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg will also appear. This is another reason why this film is highly anticipated. This film will be packed with some of DC Comics more familiar superheroes.

The cast includes:

Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman
Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman
Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman
Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash
Ray Fisher as Victor Stone / Cyborg

In conclusion, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an American Super hero film featuring DC Comic characters. This film is post the Man of Steel events which I recommend you watch before seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Batman finds Superman when another threat imposes and threatens human safety. Wonder Women, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg will also appear.
This film was produced with a $200 million budget so action and effects should be abundant.

Although I am more of a Marvel than a DC fan, this one does look somewhat interesting. Great review!
