Beatles Music-Top 40 Hits from 1964 to 1970.

Updated on January 31, 2012

So after reading some articles on how to start writing online one of the main things I picked up was to write about something you know. Well I have always loved the Beatles and their music, so I figured I would start out this HubPage tryout by writing about all of the Beatles Top 40 Hits according to Billboard magazine.

For those that are not familiar with the Beatles(is there anybody out there not familiar with them?), they were an English rock band out of Liverpool, England. The band was comprised of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Fab Four owned the 1960s but their success caused some major riffs within the band and they were no longer a band by 1971.

On Billboards Top 40, the Beatles had an amazing forty-five songs hit the Top 40 from January 1964 and May of 1970. This included thirty-one songs that hit the Top 10 and twenty songs that hit number one. The following table shows all 45 songs with their release date, peak position on the charts, weeks in Top 40 and how the song did in the United Kingdom.
