Here in the USA though, the Philippine entertainment industry really hasn't caught on yet.
Though with gorgeous and talented ladies like these...it probably wont be long until it does.

She is of Filipina and Australian descent.

Anne started out on TV in 1995 on TGIS (Thank God It’s Sabado).
Her film debut came in 1997 in the movie Magic Kingdom.

She became a huge teen star, but she really didn't hit her height of popularity until 2002 when she appeared on the cover of FHM magazine.
With that, Maui successfully crossed over from teen star to sex symbol.
In 2002, she got her first starring role in the movie Gamitan as Cathy Manalo and the film was a smash.
Although most of her roles were of a sexy nature, she changed all that in 2003's Ang Huling Birhen Sa Lupa when she played Cion, a mentally retarded girl who was supposed to be sixteen, but have the mentality of a ten year old.
