Who is Mikie Hara?

"Mikie Hara," a Japanese supermodel (gravure model) and actress is one of those models that are just so cute. Mikie Hara or Hara Mikie was born on July 3, 1987 in the city of Murakami in the Niigata prefecture of Japan. At 163 centimeters tall she’s got to be one of the tallest Japanese models. Her blood type is O. Her zodiac sign is Cancer.

Why is Mikie Hara known for more than just being a supermodel?

She is best known for her appearance in the TV drama Cutie Honey: The Live which marked her debut in television. And in that TV drama, she had the lead role, starring as two characters, Honey Kisaragi and Cutie Honey. That’s a great way to start off your career in television. That would be any actor’s or actresses dream because so many who compete for roles do not get that kind of chance.

Mikie Hara and her career as an actress (2008-2013)

In 2008, Hara starred in two more dramas, Giragira and Last Mail. She has starred in three movies so far in her career. The first one titled Nigai Mitsu was in 2010. 2012 saw Mikie Hara appear in two other movies to date, Afro Tanaka and Halcyon Skies. Mike Hara has these beautiful brown eyes and her smile makes her sparkle. That smile of hers is irresistible! Mikie Hara currently lives in Tokyo, Japan. She is under contract with the talent agency Oscar Promotion. There could be so many reasons why an actress rises in popularity. Hara is also known for her roles in Dr. Irabu Ichiro (2011) and Detarame Hero (2013). I did not know this when I first started to read about her career.

Some perspective about Mikie Hara and her modeling work

As a gravure idol, Mikie Hara frequently appears in photo shoots wearing lingerie, bikinis or even a one-piece swimsuit. She looks fine in just about anything. Mikie even has the skill of being a great swimmer. Many of these Japanese supermodels have that quality. It could be because of the fact that it is already in their genes. There is something amazing about Japan that produces so much talent when it comes to the modeling profession. Mikie Hara is just one of those that seems to have that good attitude and approaches her job with a smile. She isn’t as pretty as Yoko Mitsuya, Yoko Matsugane, Sayuri Anzu, or even Yukie Kawamura but she is still pleasing to watch and admire.

Who Is Harumi Nemoto?

Note: we are now in June 2019 and this writer has decided to include additional information about another Japanese gravure idol, "Harumi Nemoto!" Harumi Nemoto is a Japanese gravure idol or model that has been one of the most popular in her profession since at least 2001. She has been active writing in a manga magazine called Manga Life since at least October 2007. She told the press after her last DVD that she intends to continue modeling. Born on July 28, 1980, Harumi is nearing the age of 40. If she intends to keep on modeling like she told the press that she would, that kind of choice takes much persistence as the newer gravure models will arrive into the industry in the coming years.
