Beautiful Women - Model & Fitness Figure Competitor Monica Brant
Monica Brant has been a fitness competitor and figure competitor for over 15 years and she doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. She most recently left the IFBB after being with them for 15 years where she won the 1998 Ms. Fitness Olympia Championship.
She is now going to compete with the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation or WBFF where she will be competing in her first show with them September 18, 2010. When you see Monica some of the words that will probably come to mind are fitness, sexy, fit, impressive, powerful and beautiful. She is definitely all of those things and more.
On top of those she is extremely successful in her field. In 1998 she won the Ms Fitness Olympia Championship which was held in France and is an incredible accomplishment considering she only began lifting weights in 1991.
She received her pro card with the IFBB in 1995 only 4 years after she first started lifting weights. Myself being someone who lifts weights regularly I realize just how impressive that really is.

Some history on Monica Brant
Monica’s birthday is October 26, 1970 and she was born in Fort Hood Texas. She was raised in a small town near San Antonio called Castroville on a 20 acre ranch.
As a teen Monica gave horse riding lessons and helped train horses with her mother, who is a professional horse trainer. Jumping ahead to her start in fitness Monica started lifting weights in 1991.
She is rumoured to of viewed a photo of past competitor Marla Duncan who had just won a national fitness competition. She was so impressed with the overall look of Marla that she wanted to try to see if she could be so incredibly fit and do what Marla was doing.
Monica started competing for fun until she ended up getting to be on the cover of Muscle & Fitness magazine which made her realize her potential and that quite possibly she could make a living at this sport.
In 1995 Monica moved to the Los Angeles area where she picked up the pace with her weightlifting and fitness training. Monica won the 1998 Ms Jan Tana Pro Fitness Championship and also the 1998 Ms Fitness Olympia Championship.
After the Fitness Olympia win she appeared at minimum 45 times on the covers of magazines and books worldwide. From 1999 to 2007 competing seasons Monica placed 2nd two times at the Ms Fitness Olympia Championship then retired from fitness competitions but returned in 2003 to compete in the Olympia Figure competition.
In 2007 she decided to try her hand at competing in the Ms Olympia competition but unfortunately did not place.
Monica also does a lot of modelling for various fitness publications and advertisements.
Monica currently resides in Austin Texas with her husband where I am sure she is training hard for her new competition venue the WBFF.
I think Monica Brant is a female fitness icon and anyone can look to her for inspiration and motivation.
