Beijing Xian tour - see the Terracotta Warriors from Beijing

Updated on April 1, 2011

Beijing and Xian are two of China's most important and historic cities, and if you only have a few days in China, these are probably the two cities that you should visit if at all possible. Beijing, as the capital city, has the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and of course several sections of the Great Wall of China nearby. The city of Xian was also an ancient capital city of China, where Qin Shi Huang became the first emperor of China to unite the different warring states into one country under one ruler. Obviously the main attraction in Xian is the Terracotta Warriors (also known as the Terracotta Army and Terracotta Soldiers), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a not-to-be-missed attraction in China. We offer a one-day Beijing Xian tour that will allow you and your traveling companions to visit the Terracotta Warriors and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (another ancient attraction in Xian) before returning back to Beijing the same evening. This special Terracotta Warriors tour will make your visit to China more complete, even if you only have one extra day to spend outside of the capital city of Beijing. Or you can spend more time in Xian, but two days is probably enough time to see everything of interest in this great ancient city.
