1. Michael Jackson- Jackson was known as The King of Pop and he had been making music since he was a child in the Jackson Five. His dancing and singing are unmatched in the pop genre. His album, Thriller, is the best selling musical album of all time. Jackson has had ten studio albums, several greatest hits albums and of course his many hits with the Jackson 5. His dances, including the Moonwalk are stuff of the Legend.

2. Prince- Prince, who is known for his outrageous costumes and wild antics, could really sing. His voice was beautiful and anyone who saw Purple Rain the film and heard the soundtrack, knows what I mean. Prince had 25 studio albums, 5 soundtrack albums and several compilation albums to compliment his films and other endeavors dealing with pop music. Without a doubt, he is the best guitarist in pop history and one of the best in rock music history too!

3. Stevie Wonder- Wonder was born blind but, that did not stop him from rising to the top. His skills on a piano and keyboard are top notch to say the least. He has had 22 studio albums and he has won 22 Grammy Awards in the process. As a pop star, he has had ten number one hits on The Pop Charts Top 200. His use of piano keys and the way he stops and starts notes is unique in music and has been studied for years by music historians.

4. Elton John- This Englishman is a legendary songwriter, pianist and singer. The song, Candle In The Wind, is the best selling single of all time.He wrote the song in memory of his great friend Princess Diana. He has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and he has a record 7 straight number one albums in the U.S. Elton has had 30 studio albums, 10 soundtrack and compilation albums and he has been in five feature films. Other than his legendary music and producing talents he is also a charitable man who has given tons of money towards Aids Research.

5. Elvis Presley- The King of Rock and Roll as he was dubbed, was also an amazing pop, R & B and Country Singer as well. His dancing is made for pop music and his songs like Elvis had 22 studio albums, over 50 soundtracks and EP's. He had an astonishing 33 number one singles and his astonishing 70 album release is the most by any solo entertainer ever. His biggest pop chart hits included Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes, I Beg of You and Anyway You Want Me.

6. Barry Manilow- This adult contemporary vocalist was also a pop music legend. He has sold over 80 million records throughout the world. He has had 21 studio recordings and over 40 other musical recordings. Manilow has been making hits onstage since 1973 and he still continues to write, produce and sing to this day. Some of his best pop hits were: It's a Miracle, Memory, Even Now and Open Arms.

7. Sam Cooke- Cooke has one of the best voices in music history, no matter the genre. It is so sad he died at 33 but he still left a remarkable legacy on R & B, Soul, Pop, Rock and Gospel. His first pop single was a pop pioneer song if you will called Lovable. Send Me, Twistin' the Night Away and Another Saturday Night are my favorite pop hits from Cooke. If this was an R & B or Soul music list he would place number one.

8. Billy Joel- This legendary composer, pianist and singer has been dishing out great music since 1964 and he isn't done yet. He has won 6 Grammy Awards and has had 12 studio albums to go with over 50 other album collaborations. Some of Billy's best pop hits are: And So It Goes, Baby Grand, Laura and Tell Her About It. Joel has and continues to do concert tours at venues all over America and Europe.

9. Frank Sinatra- Sinatra was a movie actor and singer with the ultimate charm. He is a worldwide phenomena and his stage performances were something to behold. His television appearances, live Las Vegas shows and last but not least his blue eyes. He is a founding member of the rat pack and has had over 60 albums total. The best pop songs by Frank Sinatra were: Ain't She Sweet, Angel Eyes, How Insensitive and Nature Boy.

10. Robbie Williams- This British pop star is a member of the band, Take That. He also has had great success in his solo career. He holds a Guinness Book of World Record for the fastest concert tour sales. He sold 1.6 million tickets in only one day which is astonishing. He has had 15 total solo pop albums and has had nine tours under his belt. His best pop songs are: Rock DJ, Something Beautiful, Lazy Days and Beyond the Sea.
