Fifteen of Hollywood's Finest

1. Ashley Judd: Judd has been in the spotlight her entire life since she is the daughter of country music star, Naomi Judd. She is an activist, both political and social. She is a very dramatic actress with skills on the stage. My top three films by Ashley Judd are: Double Jeopardy, Heat and Kiss the Girls. Judd can bring action and she can bring tears during her onscreen performances.

2. Jodie Foster: Foster has been acting since she was a 3 year old starring in commercials for television. Foster has won two Academy Awards and has been nominated for others. She has played in a wide variety of roles on the screen from horror and thriller to a 13 year old star in Taxi Driver back in 1976. My top three films by Jodie Foster are: Silence of the Lambs, Panic Room and Inside Man.

3. Hilary Swank: Swank has won two Academy Awards and has only been on the big screen since 1992. She could someday go down as the best if she keeps a busy pace. Swank is the Denzel Washington of female acting. She can make you mad, laugh or cry in an instant. My top three films by Hilary Swank are: Million Dollar Baby, The Resident and Insomnia.

4. Charlize Theron: Theron has won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe in her distinguished career. She can play any role as witnessed by her amazing performance in the move, Monster. My top three favorite films by Charlize Theron are: Monster, The Devil"s Advocate and Reindeer Games.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow: Paltrow has proved to be a main stay by her commercial success with Estee Lauder and her acting style is nothing short of astonishing. She has won an Oscar as well as a Golden Globe award. My top three films by Gwyneth Paltrow are: Seven, A Perfect Murder and Shallow Hal.

6. Bette Davis: Davis has played in love stories and crime dramas. She made her start in Broadway before earning her stripes in Hollywood. She was nominated for an Academy Award ten times and won twice. My favorite three films by Bette Davis are: The Watcher in the Woods, Burnt Offerings and The Scientific Card Player.

7. Sally Field: Field has been making television sitcoms and movies since 1962, if you can believe it. She was the star of Gidget and Flying Nuns in the 60s on television. She has won two Academy Awards, and has played everything from a mentally disturbed child to a mother of one. My top three films by Sally Field are: Sybil, Lincoln and Eye for an Eye.

8. Jennifer Aniston: Although she made her bones starring on the T.V. show Friends, Aniston has had a marvelous movie career as well. Aniston has won an Emmy and a Golden Globe during her time on the big screen. My top three films by Jennifer Aniston are: Bruce Almighty, Along Came Polly and Rumor Has It.

9. Sharon Stone: Stone has played in many risque roles. She has been nominated for an Academy Award and she won a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy. Stone has had many controversial moments on camera, by saying things that are ill-timed. My top three films by Sharon Stone are: Casino, Basic Instinct and The Specialist.

10. Julia Roberts: Roberts has won an Academy award and a Golden Globe award. Her films have grossed more money than any other actress ever. She started acting in 1987 and has been a smash ever since. My top three films by Julia Roberts are: Erin Brockovich, Sleeping with the Enemy and The Pelican Brief.

11. Angelina Jolie: Jolie has received an Academy award and three Golden Globe Awards during her illustrious acting career. She is probably the best action actress ever especially because of her roles in the Tomb Raider movies. My three favorite films by Angelina Jolie are: The Bone Collector, Gone in 60 Seconds and Girl Interrupted.

12. Meryl Streep: Streep has been acting in Hollywood since 1971 and she has won three Academy awards in her long and prestigious career. She holds the record for Academy award nominations with 17 and the record for Golden Globe nominations with 27. My three favorite films by Meryl Streep are: Kramer vs. Kramer, The Deer Hunter and The Manchurian Candidate.

13. Elizabeth Taylor: Taylor's acting career lasted from 1942-2003 and she won two Best Actress Academy awards in that span. She is known for her style and flash as much as for her acting, which was fabulous to say the least. My three favorite films by Elizabeth Taylor are: The Sandpiper, Scent of Mystery and Rhapsody. Taylor was the Queen of Television for some time and she inspired many of today's stars.

14. Diane Keaton: Keaton began her acting career in 1968 and has not taken a backwards step yet. She has won an Academy Award and nominated for three others. Her versatility and longevity have made her one of the best actresses in history. My three favorite films by Diane Keaton are: The Godfather, Father of the Bride and Radio Days.

15. Michelle Pfeiffer: Pfeiffer began acting in 1978 and like fine wine she has gotten even better with time. She has been in thrillers and gangster movies and she has also been nominated for three Academy Awards. My three favorite films by Michelle Pfeiffer are: Scarface, Dangerous Minds and What Lies Beneath.
