One day, he discovers the “Book of Friends” his grandmother left before her demise. It’s a book containing names of lots of youkai who his grandmother defeated and captures. And so, she enlists the assistance of dog-like, half-human, half-demon being called Inuyasha to aid her in her quest to collect the scattered Shikon Jewel shards and prevent them from falling in the wrong hands.
