Best Twilight Quotes from the Movie and Books

Updated on January 20, 2011

Looking for the best Twilight quotes? I’ve listed them here. Have a flashback of the famous Twilight movie by reading the romantic quotes I’ve listed. They are, by the way, from the Twilight books and movie. Because you love reading my quotes-hubs, I have attached the chapters and page numbers of the memorable quotes as well. These Twilight quotes are majority about love and quoted by Bella Swan and Edward Cullen and yeah few from Jacob, too. I’ve separated the funny quotes at the end part of this hub. This page is all about Twilight. If you’re looking for the other books like New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, wait for a while and I’m in the moment compiling the best quotes from them. So here they are, the best quotes from Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight.

"Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of someone else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something." Bella Swan,  Preface, p.1

"Sometimes I wondered if I was seeing the same things through my eyes that the rest of the world was seeing through theirs. Maybe there was a glitch in my brain." Bella Swan,  Chapter 1, p.11

"I stared because their faces, so different, so similar, were all devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful." Bella Swan, Chapter 1, p.19

"It was ridiculous, and egotistical, to think that I could affect anyone that strongly. It was impossible. And yet I couldn’t stop worrying that it was true." Bella Swan, Chapter 2, p.31

"His fingers were ice-cold, like he’d been holding them in a snowdrift before class. But that wasn’t why I jerked my hand away so quickly. When he touched me, it stung my hand as if an electric current had passed through us." Bella Swan, Chapter 2, p.45

"I was consumed by the mystery Edward presented. And more than a little obsessed by Edward himself." Bella Swan, Chapter 3, p.67

"I turned slowly, unwillingly. I didn’t want to feel what I knew I would feel when I looked at his too-perfect face." Bella Swan, Chapter 4, p.74

"I wasn’t interesting. And he was. Interesting… and brilliant… and mysterious… and perfect… and beautiful… and possibly able to lift full-sized vans with one hand." Bella Swan, Chapter 4, p.79

"I was afraid… because, for, well, obvious reasons, I can’t stay with you. And I’m afraid that I’d like to stay with you, much more than I should." Bella Swan, Chapter 13

"His voice was like melting honey. I could imagine how much more overwhelming his eyes would be." Bella Swan, Chapter 5, p.102

"The worst part about Friday was that, even though I knew he wasn’t going to be there, I still hoped." Bella Swan, Chapter 6, p.111

"I was completely absorbed, except for one small part of my mind that wondered what Edward was doing now, and trying to imagine what he would be saying if he were here with me." Bella Swan, Chapter 6, p.117

"It was a stupid plan, but I didn’t have any better ideas. I hoped that young Jacob was as yet inexperienced around girls, so that he wouldn’t see through my sure-to-be-pitiful attempts at flirting." Bella Swan, Chapter 6, p.122

"I tried to make my smile alluring, wondering if I was laying it on too thick. He smiled back, though, looking allured." Bella Swan,Chapter 6, p.123

"I didn’t like it. Not seeing you. It makes me anxious, too."

Bella Swan, Chapter 9, p.190

"My goodbye stuck in my throat. He raised his hand, hesitant, conflict raging in his eyes, and then swiftly brushed the length of my cheekbone with his fingertips. His skin was as icy as ever, but the trail his fingers left on my skin was alarmingly warm — like I’d been burned, but didn’t feel the pain of it yet." Bella Swan, Chapter 11, p.220

"It’s twilight. It’s the safest time of day for us. The easiest time. But also the saddest, in a way… the end of another day, the return of the night. Darkness is so predictable, don’t you think?"

Hi Ingenira! Thanks for bookmarking :) Yes these lovely quotes are only from the first book, Twilight. But I'm compiling the other 3 and gonna make them in hubs. The movie just showed few from the quotes and they're memorable. But they can't show all of the lovely quotes in the film so better have the book :)

The idea of vampires itself is immortal so I think they'll remain here for a very long time. Wonders if our hubs will stay that long too? LOL I loved the Twilight saga and the other vampire books out there. Love your latest poetry bout vampires :)

The Vampire is one of the most re-invented characters, mainly because of the popularity...the fact that a vampire can fall in love is justifiable in this regaurd,so poo on the the critics that can't relate, lol.;)
