Krishna has been a fan of Korean pop music for almost 10 years. She loves exploring good music with deep and meaningful lyrics.

BTS

BTS (Beyond The Scene), also known as the Bangtan Boys is a popular K-Pop group known to have songs that are highly inspirational with meaningful and deep lyrics. While some of their songs are internationally popular like I Need You, Spring Day, Fire, Dope, and others; some of their best songs are still underrated.

If you want to know more about our favorite K-Pop group, here are 11 best underrated BTS songs that deserve more love:

11. Born Singer

10. 2nd Grade

9. Hold Me Tight

8. I Like It Pt. 1

7. Look Here

6. House Of Cards

5. 2! 3!

4. Tomorrow

3. Young Forever

2. Let Me Know

1. Dead Leaves

11. Born Singer

In 2013, BTS sampled J. Cole's 'Born Sinner' to create 'Born Singer' which is a masterpiece. It narrates their personal journey and struggle of making it in the music industry. Despite being made early in their career, this song reflects the talent that BTS already has in writing and producing music.

Born Singer is a narration of the struggle of seven young boys who dreamt the greatest dream to be able to touch the lives of a thousand people one day.

10. 2nd Grade

This is also one of BTS early songs about growing in the K-Pop industry. It is released on their second year after debut. It narrates how they are growing as an individual in the industry and how they are still trying their hardest. 2nd Grade has a great beat and tempo that you can dance to. The three talented rappers RM, Suga and J-Hope all had a hand in the writing of the song.

2nd Grade is a great hip hop song reflecting the original BTS style. It is a deep meaningful song behind an upbeat melody.

9. Hold Me Tight

Hold Me Tight is the third track featured on the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 and the third track of CD 1 of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever. BTS member V along with the three rappers had a role in writing this track.

The slow groove that this song has is so beautiful along with their heavenly vocals. It narrates the painful sentiment of the singer asking for the person he loves the most to hold him in his/her arms once again.

Jimin's high note plus Jungkook and Yoongi's harmonization in this are one of the remarkable points to take note in this song. I can say that this is one of the best BTS song ever made with its poetic lines and amazing vocals that you can feel the pain expressed in this song.

8. I Like It Pt. 1

It is about a guy who is still hung up on his ex. While she has already moved on, the guy still stalks her social media account and she gets prettier day by day. This a song that many people can relate to. Many of us are having a hard time moving on and stalking someone in their social media is a normal thing that we usually do.

This song is easy to listen that it still remains on my favorite playlist. It is also said that rapper Suga has written this song in 40 minutes. J-Hope's amazing vocals are also highlighted in this song at the 2:51 mark.

7. Look Here

This is also one of the upbeat sounding jam that will get you excited. It is pretty simple: they seek the attention of someone they are interested in. While the meaning of the song is pretty simple, the way the lyrics are conveyed is like reading a fanfiction.

Jin's voice in this song sounds so good, actually, all of them do, but Jin's voice in here with his iconic line is something worthy to mention. The legendary "What's popping girl?" by RM is also included here. If you want to feel good and get serenaded, then this song is for you.

6. House Of Cards

A song that fully showcases the vocal line's heavenly and seductive voices. This song is for fans of smooth and sultry R&B. House of Cards has a tempo that urges listeners to do body rolls.

House of Cards is so well-written that no one actually knows if the lyrics of the song is intentionally written the way that you will get the double meaning. It is actually up to the listener if he will take it as a sad song or imagine other stuff. I think this is the BTS song with the best metaphors.

5. 2! 3!

This song is for ARMYs, for all their fans, loved ones, family, friends, and all who believed in them and still believed in them. This is a song that tells to erase all the sad memories and everything will soon be okay as long as we're together.

2! 3! is a song that is very important not only for BTS but for all the people that supports them all over the worlds. It is a song full of love and hope.

4. Tomorrow

This is one of the earliest songs of BTS. It encourages the youth to not give up no matter where they are right now. It tells how our dreams and goals may seem out of reach for now, but do not lose hope yet; even in the far future, it is important to remember where we came from and realize how much we have progressed.

Tomorrow is one of the BTS songs with the best lyrics ever written. All three rappers took part in writing the song. This song has the hip hop cool style that BTS originally have in their early days. This song can save people from depression by relating to its lyrics.

3. Young Forever

It is one of BTS moving songs. It expresses the feelings that the members face as they continue to face popularity: the feeling of pressure, reflection on their self-growth, and their desire to be young and making music forever.

It is one of the heart-wrenching BTS songs that tell us how they acknowledge that someday all their popularity will end and they won't be able to make music as lively as today. This is the song that all their supporters should look back to when the day comes that BTS leave the limelight.

2. Let Me Know

This song is beautiful. It narrates the singer sentiments on how he doesn't want to let go of the relationship that is already ending. This song is very emotional.

The gripping voices of the rap line perfectly combined with the soulful voices of the vocal line make this song a masterpiece. One word can describe this song: aesthetic.

1. Dead Leaves

This track is a hidden gem. It is still one of my favorite BTS songs of all time. Every rap line in this song is so poetic and beautifully written. The chorus of this song is also perfect. I can say that this is one of the reasons why BTS is unique from other groups: the meaning and beauty of the lyrics that only seldom can do like them.

Up to this date, this is the song that I would proudly recommend to all their new supporters. This song is a masterpiece that simply deserves more love and recognition.
