Celebrity Big Brother
A bit about the show
CBS opted for a Celebrity edition of Big Brother for the winter 2018 season. A second season returned in the winter of 2019. There was speculation that the show was cancelled, although it was never offically announced. Viewers were surprised when a 3rd season was ordered for the 2022 winter season.
Julie Chen hosted this version, just as she does for the regular Big Brother and did for the Over the Top edition. These seasons of Celebrity BB were much shorter, with just 1 month devoted to the reality show instead of the typical 3. The celebrities could not devote as much time to the show as regular house guests could.

A glimpse into the season
Shannon had lots of knowledge of Big Brother and was sitting pretty in the beginning. She showed her cards too soon, however, and was turned on by her allies quickly. Many of the other house guests had little knowledge of the game -- especially Metta. It made it harder for them to play. Keshia Knight Pulliam actually asked the others to vote her out because she wanted to return home to her daughter.
Marissa and Ross remained loyal to each other throughout the game and sat together in the final 2 chairs. Ross had more wins and should have taken home the prize, but Marissa played an honest game and had more alliances left. The jury voted her the first ever winner of the U.S version of Celebrity Big Brother.
Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ross Matthews went on to host Off the Block together, an after show that aired after each live Big Brother episode where someone was voted off. They talked about the latest updates, dished on who were their favorites to win, and even spoke to the latest evicted house guest. They only did it for Season 20, though, and did not return during Season 21.

A glimpse into the show
Jonathan and Joey were in an alliance with Anthony -- so when his twist was revealed it hurt them. There were several twists in this season, including a "Breaking Celebrity News" twist, Power of the Publicist, and a special Double Eviction Safety Competition. Tamar won that and was able to save herself from being evicted. She went on to win the whole season against Ricky.

A glimpse into the season
The first twist of the season came in the form of the "Mon Won" hat. The celebrities had to pass the hat to the person they didn't want to have it, until the last one of them who put it on was deemed safe. At the first nomination ceremony, it was revealed that Mon Won backwards meant Nom Now, and the person who ended up with it would be replacing a nominee. Todd ended up replacing Mirai, but Teddi who was next to him still went home.
Lots of fan hate against Todrick has also been spreading online this season, after all of his personal attacks and meanness during the game.
