The only Way is Essex will have more than a few changes this series, especially as Producers have stated that only original cast members will be guaranteed a place in the third series. Since series one of the hit show, the reality stars have been seen on numerous TV programmes and featured in many of the top newspapers and glossy magazines. Fans of the show have gone crazy for their rollercoaster lives, their on off and back on again relationships, and their Essex glam life styles. In fact the cast members have become so popular that producers of Towie are currently deciding whether or not to give them more airtime. It has been reported that producers would like the Towie cast to film for 48 weeks of the year making it more of a soap opera than a reality show.

In series one the cast all filmed the programme for free not really expecting it to go anywhere, but when their popularity went through the roof, the producers filmed a second series and this time paid the cast members just fifty pounds per day. And it looks like the cast are set to receive the same wage this series too, Mark Wright was just one of the cast that has recently had a row with producers over wages as they are banned from working on other TV shows while filming The Only Way is Essex. Producers have said "If they think they can make more money elsewhere then they are free to go. Nobody is bigger than the show."

Amy Child's has already announced that she has left the show, it has been reported that popular cast member Amy, has been offered £200,000 to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, and as well as this she has also been offered a place on Strictly come dancing. Although Amy's management are refusing to confirm or deny these rumours, they did say "We cannot confirm what Amy's new deal is at this time, but it won't be the last of Amy Child's that's for sure." Amy recently said she would miss Towie and really wished she could have stayed on but Lime Pictures who owns The Only Way is Essex would not allow Amy to pursue other offers while she was contracted to them.

Amy Child's is said to be being replaced by none other than Essex girl Jodie Marsh which if true is quite amusing to me considering what Jodie had to say about the show not so long ago................... In a interview, Jodie Marsh said Towie was an embarrassment to Essex, she then went on to say that both herself and her friends are very ashamed of the show. Jodie ended her interview by branding the Towie girls thick and unattractive. Meeeeow!!Apparently Jodie has been spending a lot of time with Towie member Kirk Norcross since his split from model Lauren Pope, Kirk has also been spotted out on dates with popular glamour model Casey Batchelor. Last month Kirk confirmed he had split with Lauren Pope due to lack of chemistry.

Another popular Towie couple, Sam Faiers and Joey Essex who got together in series 2, have also split up. Sam Faiers blamed media pressure for their break up and admitted she had began mothering him. While Joey who is said to be heartbroken by the split, said that he and Sam rarely saw each other towards the end due to their busy schedules.

Meanwhile on off and back on again couple Arg and Lydia have confirmed they reconciled during a recent holiday in Marbella. The pair split after Arg's affair with student Ebru Sanlee was exposed in the press, but the couple are now giving their relationship another go, well at least until series three has ended anyway lol.

And finally the star couple of Towie, Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger are still together, and still engaged despite many affair and publicity stunt rumours. Both Lauren and Mark have had offers from Celebrity Big Brother although they turned them down, opting for Towie instead. Mark Wright has recently been signed up by Hollywood agent John Ferriter who also manages Piers Morgan, Cat Deeley and Ryan Seacrest to name but a few. Mark who studied at Sylvia Young Stage School, said he wants to be a serious actor and is even been considering a move to L.A. Mark turned down a £250,000 offer from Celebrity Big Brother as he wants to be taken seriously unlike previous Big Brother stars such as Alex Reid. Mark is currently considering his future on the show, but what will this mean for fiance Lauren?
