Bowie's Sharing Out Of Fortune.

With the death of David Bowie on 10 January his estimated estate was reckoned to be $100 million dollars or 70 million in British Pounds Sterling.

Half of his estate was left to his model wife Iman whom Bowie married in 1992 and then the rest left to his son and daughter.

The Rock star, actor and all round artist shared his home with Iman in New York a place he called home for many years despite being English. Bowie proper name David Robert Jones was born in Brixton London where a mural is on display in tribute to the star where fans have laid bouquets and other memoranda in respect to the star.

Bowie also left $ 2 million to his personal assistant Corinne Schwab and $ 1 million went to a former nanny.

Bowie's body was cremated on 12 January this year in accordance with the death certificate filed with Bowie's will.

Bowie wanted his ashes scattered on the island of Bali and according to sources no family or friends attended his cremation in New York.

Bowie's final album 'Black Star' has been number 1 in the UK album charts for some time by now and also much of his former back catalogue has been sellling well again probably bought by those who wanted to discover the musicians work for the first time.

It is not known at this time if Bowie's ashes were scattered on the island of Bali.
