Are you a Twilight Fan?

If you have read the four books in the Twilight series and have seen the first three movies you can call yourself a Twilight Fan. And then I'm sure that you are aware of the fact that the fourth book has been deemed too large for a single movie and so we get two movies out of it.

Now in case you have just dropped in from another planet and have no clue what I'm talking about, The Twilight series is a set of romance novels written by Stephenie Meyer.

The first book titled Twilight was released on October 5, 2005 and the last book Breaking Dawn was released on August 2, 2008. In between we had New Moon being released on August 21, 2006 and Eclipse which was released on August 7, 2007. And with roughly one book a year the world was taken by storm.

The story of a young girl Bella who fell in love with a Vampire Edward and how the two of them coped with it is truly worth the hype. She makes you want to read more with each page you turn. And believe me if she came up with another sequel I would be more than happy to see what she does with the story further, but that's for the future.

At present we need to talk about the movie that is currently being shot in part in Canada. The first movie based on Breaking Dawn will deal with Bella's marriage to Edward, the honeymoon on Isle Esme and the pregnancy. The rest of the story will be covered in another movie. All I can say is hurry up and make them already!

In many cases the movie does not live up to the expectations raised by the book. Thankfully the Twilight Saga does not come in this category. If you loved the books you will definitely enjoy the movies. The cast is really good and most of the characters truly come alive.

What to expect in the movie

The unlikely couple of a teenager and a hundred year old vampire finally beat all odds and get married. The happily ever after is however rudely interrupted with the unexpected presence of an accelerated pregnancy.

The Quileute and the Volturi close in on expecting parents Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses different threats to the wolf pack and vampire coven. Dealing with all the odds will take its toll on the Cullen Coven.

Will they survive and what will be the future of fast growing Reneesme? Answer these questions and more in the movies based on the novel Breaking Dawn. And if you have not read the books yet, get them already!

Twilight Saga

Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)
Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1)

Kristen Stewart plays the mortal innocent to Robert Pattinson’s undead rebel in the movie, but the book is amazing too.

New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)
New Moon (The Twilight Saga, Book 2)

New Moon sees Edward going away and Jacob taking center stage. In some ways I liked him better.

Eclipse was an all out battle with the new born army. The werewolves made the difference and the story turned up another mythical creature.

Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4)

Breaking Dawn is the grand finale to a great series and boy did I enjoy them all. A really great book although a bit heavy to yield.

I saw the first movie and knew the books would be better...not that the movie wasn't. I have since seen all movies and look forward to the last two.

Oh I read the first book then saw the three released movies. After which I couldn't get enough and read the remaining three books.

And re-read them once again :)
