The Nightly Views?

If you haven't heard by now a well known NBC news anchor by the name of Brian Williams, has just been exposed for lying about coming under fire while he was traveling in a helicopter while reporting in Iraq. Wait, just in case that was a little unclear let me try that again.

Brian Williams, a well respected anchorman (if that's possible) who hosts NBC's Nightly News just provided us with the most absurd claim since Bill Clinton said, "I did not have sexual relations with that women". At least Bill was smart enough to be vague in his answers and his definition of "sexual relations" could be different than ours, but then again Bill was a lawyer he knows how to play with words. Brian Williams...not so much. Here's the breakdown;

Over the years Williams has claimed that while being transported by helicopter in Iraq 12 years ago, his aircraft was hit by an RPG or Rocket Propelled Grenade. The big problem here is that earlier this week while retelling the story he pissed off a few soldiers who were there and their story didn't quite match up with his. Next thing you know Pinocchio...I mean Brian Williams, gets on air and says...I can't make this up. Instead of putting this in my own words let me give you the quote straight from USA Today;

"On air Wednesday night, Williams said he had "made a mistake in recalling the events of 12 years ago," that the whole incident was simply "a bungled attempt by me to thank one special veteran and by extension our brave military men and women, veterans everywhere, those who have served everywhere while I did not."

Guess what guys? He didn't stop there. Oh no. Next up he slickly tries to claim that he was in a following copter, insinuating that he wasn't hit by the RPG, but may have still been in danger. Nope. After word got out about his less than truthful apology, some of the soldiers who were actually there when it happened exposed the "Conning Columnist", stating that he wasn't anywhere near the copter when it got hit, but in a later flight that was about an hour away. Now before you want to go feeling sorry for this asshole, I present the third installment in his attempt to save his reputation.

Instead of just taking it like a man and admitting he lied, Mr. Williams proceeds to further insert foot into mouth and make matters worse by claiming that his continued viewing of the footage and the fog of memory over 12 years has caused him to relate the two incidents. Are you kidding me? Are you telling me that a grown man who reports the news to us daily cannot remember if his helicopter was hit by a grenade or not? Oh I know there are still some people out there who may be holding onto a pessimistic idea that this guy might have some type of mental issue, but I assure you the only one I can see is Egoism.

Below is an excerpt from a David Letterman interview where Mr. Williams continues to recount his bogus story. This is from 2013!

Really?

This lying sack of crap should be fired and vanished to Alaska to spend the rest of his days with the likes of Sarah Palin. Why so harsh? Why shouldn't I be? Once again we have the white shiny toothed jackass with the perfect hair and big bank account on television using the American public as a launching pad for their personal gain. Not only should we be mad at this clown, but mad at the scumbag networks he and all others like him work for. After all there is no way that this guy didn't have members of his news crew or the network with him who could have easily stopped him from carrying on with this farce. No...this was too juicy to extinguish. They had there golden boy looking like a tough guy in Iraq, coming back to tell the story and yuck it up with the likes of Letterman. It was too good to be true...no really it WAS too good to be true.

Look at it like this; we have brave American's that are in our armed forces risking their lives to protect our freedoms and these douche bags are over there using the war as an opportunity to get more ratings and make themselves look good?

One has to ask themselves when will this end, but before that I am here to make sure you know that this is not where it begins. I want you to know that this has been going on for a long time.

Hillary's Bosnian Blunder

Sex, Lies, and Video Tapes

If you think this is the first time one of these talking heads has been caught in a self absorbed lie about being in danger you are sadly mistaken. In 2008 Hillary Clinton lied so many times about her trip in Bosnia that at one point you can almost see smoke coming out of her ears as she tries to conjure up the vaguest scenarios leaving herself with what she believe is some nice wiggle room to change her stories up. I could bring up her husband Bill again, but we all know what happened there.

The funny thing is most of these blatant lies seem to always involve the military in some way (minus the presidential sperm on the blue dress). Take for instance the Pat Tillman quagmire where military officials came up with a bogus story to cover up the fact that one of it's soldiers had died of 'friendly fire'. In that case instead of telling the true story, "The military instead released a "manufactured narrative" detailing how Pat Tillman died leading a courageous counterattack in an Afghan mountain pass". What about the Jessica Lynch blunder where once again the military came up with an exaggerated tale of patriotic power when they claimed Private Lynch was the "little girl 'Rambo' from the hills of West Virginia who went down fighting," Not only did this turn out to be a lie, but the whole rescue was influenced by a big time Hollywood producer by the name of Jerry Bruckheimer.

So what is it? Why do we keep falling prey to these false tales of American Heroics? Why are so many people intent on having us believe what they deem necessary for us to believe? I have a theory.

Real American Heroes?

The reason these 'Warrior Hero' lies exist is the same reason why American History books leave out the Raping and Pillaging of Native Americans by the Pilgrims. You see in history the victors write history. In other words those who win the wars can mold the future and manipulate the past. If your adversaries have no voices then they have no say. Our government and the powers that be want you to believe that this country simultaneously stands as the most militarily powerful and thoughtfully humanitarian. In addition we are the most badass son's of bitches on the planet. Look at a movie like "American Sniper". It's no wonder that movie is a hit at the box office. In a country where games like "Call of Duty" provides you with positive reinforcement for "head shots" you have to assume that they are not only giving us what we want, but telling us what we want as well. Now, before you go off thinking it's all over and there is nothing we can do to get a piece of our souls back, check this out.

People like Brian Williams and Hillary Clinton are actually doing us a favor believe it or not. By getting caught in these blatant lies the pendulum is slowly swinging in the right direction. Sooner or later so many of these idiots will get caught up in so many lies that the genral public will stop believing anything they say. In fact you can see it now. CNN, MSNBC, and a gang of other so called 'media sources' have been losing tons of viewership to 'alternative media'. As witnessed by the droves of people tuning into shows like 'Alex Jones' and youtube viewing of conspiracy theory type documentaries we can see that people are starting to look for outside sources to gain there information. At this point shows and websites like 'TMZ' are providing more accurate information as there stories seem to be backed by facts and proof readily available to the public. So the next time you see one of these shucksters smiling into the camera and telling you that the sky is falling, look into their eyes and think twoce about what they are really saying.

Just to wrap things up into a neat little bow I want you to please check out the final video below. What is it? CNN's fake broadcast from the Persian Gulf War in 1990. I can't even begin to explain it's absurdity, you just have to see it for yourself.
