Dark Knight Rises Movie
Dark Knight Rises - Christoper Nolan
Christopher Nolan is back with the third installment of Batman. This third (and final? episode of Batman Trilogy to be called, aptly enough, Batman Rises
Christopher Nolan is once again acting as a triple threat for this movie. He is acting as writer/director/producer and early indications are that this movie should be as ground-breaking/ original and entertaining as the first two epics Nolan created: Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
If there is one thing that Nolan has shown over the past few years is that the man knows how to make good movies. As all his previous films have shown, fans will be in for a treat with what he says will be his last Batman film
Batman in the Movies
The complete collection of the Batman series that started with the Tim Burton movies until the final Batman and Robin movies.
Christopher Nolan's reboot of the classic Batman series. NOlan gets away from the "camp" and returns to the classic feel of a hard-core Batman
Rarely does a movie get better with the second edition, but with the Dark Knight it happens.
Dark Night Rises Cast Returning
Much of the cast that Nolan and the "Dark Knight" franchise have built up over the past few years shall be returning. With a few more stellar cast members added as periphery characters and villains.
The Cast returning for Dark Knight Rises
Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon Now the Police Commisioner
Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox Bruce Wayne's friend and inventor of many of Batman's gadgetry
Michael Caine as Alfred, Bruce Wayne's Butler and confidant
Thomas Hardy as Bane
New Batman Movie Cast
Thomas Hardy: Bane
Thomas Hardy, who was one of the stars in Christopher Nolan's last movie, "Inception" is cast as one of the main criminals in the newest Batman movie.
Hardy plays Bane, an incredibly powerful super-villain who actually broke Batman's back int he comic-book series. In addition to the character he played in Inception, Hardy is a talented actor who also played a wild and powerful killer in the British indie film, Bronson. Based on the size and power of bane it is more likely that his character may be more like that from Bronson than his urbane character in Inception
This movie is going to be so good!
If Dark Knight Rises is nearly as visually stunning as the previous installments, I cannot wait to watch this again and again on my Kindle Fire Tablet Why can't it be 2012 already?
Dark Knight Rises Cast
Anne Hathaway: Selina Kyle / Catwoman
The gorgeous Anne Hathaway has been cast to star as Catwoman, also known as Selina Kyle. Catwoman is a character who often is portrayed as both an occasional friend and often nemesis of Batman

Joseph Gordon Levitt
Dark Knight RIses Cast
Joseph Gordon Levitt- John Blake
Gordon-Levitt plays a beat cop, called John Blake who is assigned to a special detail by the police commissioner, where it is assumed he will be somehow working with Batman. The exact details are still a little bit sketchy on what the role for Gordon-Levitt will be.
At one point it was assumed that Gordon-Levitt was set to be a bad guy. Perhaps being cast for the role of the Riddler. It could perhaps be true that his role will expand into either a friendly superhero or a super villain for future episodes.
Marion Cotillard: Miranda Tate
Marrion Cotilard is another actress that Christoper Nolan is Bringing back from his last big movie, Inception. In that movie she had played Leonard DiCaprio's deceased wife and "destructive dream image.
In the Dark Knight Rises Cotilards role has still not been fully revealed to the public. What has been explained is that she is a member of the board for Wayne Enterprises who is trying to encourage Bruce Wayne to resume the philanthropic deeds of his parents.
